The LR3 actually has 2 chassis. Land Rover calls it an "integrated body frame".The body frame is, instead of simply bolted on, held by the frame through sills that envelope the frame. This makes the vehicle incredibly stiff and strong, albeit heavy.
I have to disagree with the narrator as the LR3's steering is communicative and precise. It great around town, in the bends and curves, and, with the speed-adjustment feature, easy to drive on the highway.
"While the available 3rd row seats are useless except for small children"
Say what? That is the first time I have heard that criticism. Most reviews (and my personal experience) indicate that adults up to 6ft should fit in just fine.
@BlixemBlixem I own an LR3, among other Land Rovers. The LR3's third row is immense. It will comfortably fit 6 ft adults for long periods of time. Its a fantastic truck.
