I was traveling I-55 and saw firefighters and police officers lining all the overpasses so I knew something was going on. Then I heard about Michael on the radio so I pulled over and felt I needed to wait. I did wait 35 minutes and it was very emotional and sad. As Michael passed even Northbound cars were pulling over and getting out of their vehicles, you can see one in the video. That was very nice to see. Thank you to all military members for your service and sacrifice.
i knew mike in high school, he was one of the nicest people i've eer met. he was my partner in my business class my sophomore year when he was a senior. he would bring his guitar that he got as an early graduation present from his parents and we would jam the time away. Can't believe hes gone.
