America is too effing cheap and send all the information and resources that is needed to make crap..so America is giving them the knowledge/secrets to begin with. UN resolutions are like water my friend. They tend to conform to the required shape of the day. No, I would not count on the UN to be able to stop Japan. FFS, they couldn't stop a schoolgirl rebellion. That sort of force exists in NATO, the rising Euro force .... and the soon to sprout Japanese military, now rebuilding under the guise of the JDF.
I would not count on China too much. It will be years before they can steal enough technology to fight more than themselves.
