it's pretty amazing, because you would think that he has not only read the whole series, but also UNDERSTOOD viserys' character better than most hardcore fans! all his analyses are spot on.
I was particularly impressed by his performance, because he manages to give some real depth to a totally pathetic character. Viserys has no charisma, no menace, no charm, and yet he avoids being a flat caricature.
Also, I was expecting that I would keep seeing Viserys as Son of Mine from Doctor Who, so kudos to him for managing to give a totally different performance.

1:01-1:03, my reactions exactly for the last, like fifteen minutes of last nights episode! I was so glad the rest of my family was asleeps because I was just like, "Oh, snap! You get it Girl! No way!"... really, it was ridiculous.
Viserys is probably the most perfectly cast character, along with Arya. They're the only two who look just like I envisioned them in my mind while reading the books. Harry did excellent -- especially with the crazy eyes. ;)
@PuppyLovew123 I certainly won't argue with that. The only one I'm unhappy with is Cercei actually. Lena Headey is great, but her appearance just doesn't fit the Cercei character. :-/
I always imagined Ned Stark as very gaunt, and with jet black hair, though Sean Bean is so fantastic he's altering my inner image of Ned. Oddly enough, Boromir was supposed to be gaunt w/black hair as well, though Sean Bean rocked that role as well.
