what type of running gear do these cars run is it still basically front engine rwd ,and what are they based on ,i mean is it an evolution of the mk2 escort ,or maybe something else ,cheers

@kevrs2 im not an expert but what i do know is they are a spaceframe chassis with fiberglass body panels which look like the car they represent. engines are vauxhall 2litre 'red top's, 2 litre zetec 16v or pinto i think no tuning restrictions except it has to be normily aspirated and carb'd.

im sorry but i miss jim and alan commentating on world finals its not the same for spedeworth no more. i prefer the old ipswich with the wall. That was true stock car racing back then .
