  • do you have any pictures?

  • Which is better, New Flyer Hybrid or Orion International Hybrid? I say Orion, what do you think?

  • @LPenn0505 ohh no newflyer orions break down alot and are slower

  • @LPenn0505 New Flyer, because Orions break down a lot, Battery drains and stuff happen a lot, especially in Toronto. We wish we had Nova or NFI.

  • @GordonFreemanD40

Well Houston METRO is replacing our older fleet of buses with Orion hybrids. We already have 176 of them. We only have 40 NFI Hybrids. I didn't like Orions at first, mainly because they are replacing our articulated buses. METRO won't buy any more artics. Do you all still have artics?

  • @LPenn0505 TTC will get Novas in 2013. that's what TTCOrionVII8100 told me...

  • Wow this doesn't so bad at all :-)

  • I really like these bus: they are quit stable and the sit are o.k... But they probably need new one, of the same model if they are willing to in Vancouver... Or they need to review their schedule, because with all the bus late (considering 2 minutes of time: if the schedule say 1:45 and it is 1:48, this is late for me) or that finish to be followed quit near on the ride number 41, 49, 9, 22, 20, 25, 13... Something seem quit wrong to me; sometime, it is to the limit of a reputed metropolis.

  • What route was this on

  • @Bakuneon - 130 Phibbs Exchange from Metrotown Station

  • @Jacob619619 do they still have these?

  • @Bakuneon - Yes, it is still at the Burnaby garage

  • @Jacob619619 does it come out to metrotown often?

  • @Bakuneon - these two new flyer de40lf hybrids are very hard to find. however, there are novabus lfs hybrids at metrotown station often. new flyer de60lfr articulated hybrids, you will find them at either broadway station, sfu, ubc, burrard station, production station, and even joyce station running on 43 express.

  • @Jacob619619 aw, i wanted to ride one of these, rode all the new Hevs , de60lfr plenty of time, How often do they go to metrotown anyways? like once a month?

  • damn nice sounding bus :)

  • all buses should have those colored lights em

  • wow i rode on these one time on route 43. quite rare actually. the sound is awesome NEW FLYER FTW!

  • dam i love those DE40LF engine sounds and braking

  • This is an awesome bus i love it.

  • We need these in New York...

  • u can say that again

  • I think these buses are pretty good and have a future IF THEY ARE ECONOMICALLY VIABLE as transit vehicles over the normal life span of a Transit bus.

  • These buses make 400 horsepower and 1200 ft-lb of torque from stall to full speed!

  • I dont think Ballard is coming into the market again anytime soon. UTC seems to have taken over in the fuel cell market for transit buses.
