Yes, you can equip it, but if you haven't completed the game a couple of times you first need to fill it up with gas from the gas tank (found inside the gas station at 1:39 ).

@psychclaudx No, at least not if you're aiming for a 10 Star Ranking. The use of ANY bonus weapon will be penalized in the ranking.
