Certainly do; it was much discussed in the playground the following Monday. I remember she had the line "Sorry if I wasn't much good" after being shagged. The idea of anyone finding Katy inadequate is of course preposterous.
What is it with YouTube and its ability to attract abusive, loudmouth tossers? Any clip, any show and you'll find someone hurling out abuse to total strangers.
Well said Rhub ; you show common sense about the abuse thing.I enjoyed Target as well & wish it would get a release. Also is Chinese Detective available ?
It's pretty poor, I'm afraid. None of the regular characters are at all likeable, a mistake not made by the producers of "The Sweeney" or "The Professionals". This show is like "The Sweeney" with all the humour taken out, and replaced by OTT violence.
My view trick is that i enjoyed it & remember it fondly & i'm a huge fan of the Sweeney though NOT the Professionals. You may have not noticed an interesting point on this clip that the director of THIS episode at least is David Wickes, director of many Sweeney episodes as well as the first movie, Sweeney ! Other Sweeney episode directors were also used for Target as well as Sweeney fight arranger Peter Brayham.Hope it does one day get released
Dont agree with you view Zesh ; Mower did good work in spite of his media image for instance 'The Devil Rides Out' movie & many other stage & t.v. dramas. Also there were TWO complete series of Target totalling 17 complete episodes if you include the pilot & 8 each for series 1 & 2
Thanks for posting this, but this music is of end. Could you please post the music/clip which was at the starting of the show. I shall be very greateful. I have quite a few of memories associated with that.
vaguely remember this from a young age and being disturbed by a drug addict in desperate need of a fix

The Sweeny were tough...The Professionals were tougher but Target was the baddest ass of them all.

Patrick Mower is a plastic tosser and this show was axed after just one series.
How can you even compare it to the others?

Who is abusing total strangers?
I re read what I wrote and there is no abuse to anyone.
Your post on the other hand, is full of abuse. I can only deduce therefore you are a bit of an idiot that talks nonsense.

Thank you for taking the time and bandwidth to write that.

Even if this were true it would still be an improvement on most current TV and Patrick Mower a better actor that the present crop.
I think the series was actually stopped after 10 of the 13 episodes because of (probably orchestrated) complaints about violence.
I'd still like to see it out on DVD so that I could make up my own mind.

Long overdue for a DVD release because of the pathetic attitude of some of the writers and actors involved with the show...

My local PBS station ran this back in the 80's and I enjoyed this show a lot, esp. the theme. Thank you for posting.
