The real question is: which would you rather have as your doctor?

House WILL diagnose you, and treat you if it's a happy ending for the patient that week, but you might have to suffer some moderate torture and / or death before he does, Cox is less superhuman but still a first rate doctor, also he won't deliberately give you a heart attack to test his latest theory, and he has a tough exterior but is an unbeatable advocate for his patients' wellbeing.

My head says House, but my gut says Cox.
