This tenor is too good. I like this piece better when the tenor can't quite get up to the high note without a heroic effort. It should be -pleading-, not like Juan Diego just tossing it off.

I had the pleasure to perform with H. Rögner and the RSOB on many occasions, in Berlin and on tour through Germany (West Germany then), France and Switzerland. I cherish the memories of our concerts. Making music with him was easy, friendly and rather straightforward... I just found out today that he died in 2001 and I mourn him. Thanks for uploading this.
