  • I say........Very nice piece you have good sir!!!!

  • what happens when it rains? lol

  • lol mines in my boyfriends garage it's really big..were thinking about trying a loop into it.

  • wow nice first outdoor track i've seen. What state or country are you in?

  • thanks for comment scotland uk here

  • thanks for the comment

  • wow.. really cool.. i used to love these things when i was younger.

keep em up.. you get these cars with lights too and they look really cool.. try em out in the dark.... ^^

  • Very cool! Did you use coper(or silver tape) or magna-braid for the rails? What did you rout the track out of? Does it remain outside all the time? Fascinating!

  • have more fun

  • If this is outside what do you doe when it rains?

  • nice track but u should buy a better engine for the car it probably has 18000 rpm why dont buy a 32000 rpm? just an advice but cool track ;)

  • you are saying that you have used it when raining.i can imagine its cool with wet ground to race on! i guess its easier to drift too. cool track! nice idea to have it outside! i wish i could try that ``outside`` track:D.

  • nice where do u get the 4 way track peices

  • 4 way track pieces?

    this is all home made

  • nice! thats a really sweet set up!

  • Very nice

  • RACE THEM!

  • how did you build the table

  • the tables are marine ply which is also the track

the legs are hinged for storage

  • lol

  • what a waste of a backyard! just kidding

  • that track is madd!!!

  • that track is sick!! realy impressive.

  • do u use 226 with ur wheels and oil on ur coks

  • My Slot Car Has .500

  • Oh, right

  • Is it weather proof? Where'd ya get it? Why is the car going so slow?

  • weather proof yes

    home built

my partner was going slower than normal but this i consider better than those so called slot cars that travel a unrealistic scale speeds

these have scale speeds of 150-200 mph and remember magnetraction does not work on custom built track

  • will ninco cars work with scalextric track and will scalextric cars work with ninco track?

  • principals the same for all so shouldn't be a problem

i have both types running on my track

  • Yes, but cars like Ninco, Carrera, Artin, Spirit etc have deeper slot guides which can easily be trimmed if you're using older shallow slot "Classic" Scalextric or SCX track. Ask your local Slot Car specialist if you require help.

  • these are so cool

  • wow see u collect this stuff then must have taken u a while to get this much of it well cool wont rain wreck it up? or do u pack it all up?

  • home made and its left out to the elements takes a couple of hours to put up and take down

have used it when raining with no probs power packs tucked underneath and drain hole for water

its 3 lanes and 360 foot long for your info

  • tripod. think about it.

  • verry impresive!!! imagine what fun you can have whith 4 or more cars at same time..

  • shit hot track fella

  • Best outdoor - no, only outdoor track I've seen. Must be a lot of maintenace. Sweet track. I race all 3 scales and 1/32's are my favorite.

  • surprisingly not as much work as you may think - being sectional the joints occasionally need attention and the impact glue drys out

had it out for two months during the summer

just for your info 3 lanes 360 foot long

  • that is cool, very cool

  • wow, wish you were my neighbor!

  • nothing better after a hard day than to chill with a beer and me slot track

  • Nice track, but how does an outdoor track like this not get ruined by the rain?

  • theres always work on an outdoor track but as i get more experience thankfully less and less

the rain doesn't cause a problem i have drain holes strategically placed and roofing sealant

biggest problem is the heat of direct sunlight the copper starts to buckle and lift

  • Oh, I see. That's pretty neat.

  • this is a standard hornby car

all cars are weighted with plastercine and perform must better on custom built track no nagnetraction here

built my first track 6 years ago for my son

    this must be version 6?

  • very cool track! how long did it take to build? btw which manufacturer are the cars/bodies?
