The background seems to be from the 1967 Expo at Montreal Canada.I recognize the "Ontario Pavillion". I was there! One night at Expo '67, as it was called, my brother and I were having a drink...I spilled my beer all over my pants!!! A retired Catholic priest in Ontario. I haven't had a beer since! If you believe that, I also have the Golden Gate Bridge to sell you! I wasn't even thirty at the time.
@gejopari Great job by both Bobby Goldsboro and Ray Stevens, two of the best entertainers/songwriters ever. I'm not sure where the video was made, but it looked like a British red ensign flag, which could have meant either Manitoba, Ontario, or a place where the former Canadian flag flew before it was replaced by the Maple Leaf flag.
@JayBBluejay The place was Montreal, Canada, and the Pavillion was Ontario's. The flag is the Ontario Flag, which has the British Union Jack in the upper left hand corner & a Maple Leaf at the right lower side. Our Ontario flag remains the same. I was at expo '67 and visited the Ontario Pavillion & American Pavillion as well. I was 28 at the time & a Doctoral student at Laval U in Quebec City. My thesis director said to me: "Vous etes encore tres jeune." ("You're still very young.")
@centralparocker all songs of bobby goldsboro are good. i hope to see him in concert someday. i should have seen him in the 1970' till the millenium. he's back performing but mostly in florida. i live in new york.
The song was recorded on October 15, 1965(during the "Broomstick Cowboy" album sessions) & released as United Artitsts single # 980a on January 7,1966. Another great song from Bobby Goldsboro! Thanks for posting it!

Recognize the voice singing harmony on the chorus? That's Ray Stevens.

Little Things is a great track. Check out the Drugstore Cowboy soundtrack. Would love to see a HQ video of that.

Without doubt,s this track along with Voodoo Woman, was his finest moments. After these two tracks it was downhill, recording rubbish like Honey.
