An excellent AMV. Great editing, timing and matching of the clips to the music and some lyrics (indigo sphere/tears of indigo near the end).

While I agree with sullyb that a mesh in meaning between song & anime makes a better video, this was still awesome (Mononoke Hime/Peter Gabriel/Rhythm of the Heat was the example I was thinking of).

I think that I am among the dissenting minority on the subject of whether the lyrics of a song should match up with the images found in an AMV. While not quite necessary, it is nice when there is a synergy between the images and the music and lyrics of the chosen song. Check out the excellent AMV for Trains by Procupine Tree.

That being said, I love Tool too much to to not love this. Good job with the editing, cloudxsoldier.

personally, i dont think the lyrics have to match with the theme. as long as its a good song

(like the pot) and a good anime/movie etc. then it will kick ass as long as the music matches up with the movement kinda. its hard to explain. its reffered to as "the amv matches up". you know what i mean. it was kickass 5/5

The video and music sync up visually just fine. I don't understand what the video has to do with the song though. Even though relationships between video and song are always a bit obscure, espcecially with Tool, I can find no relation here. I think you did a good job, but I still think it sucks.
