Love trails like this that are hard packed fast swoopy then turn into dense Aspen forests with all sorts of cover offering a different perspective to the scenery!! Have you tried the Wilson River Trail in Oregon?
@yetibiker08 - No, I haven't tried the Wilson River Trail, but I have ridden a lot in the Medford/Ashland area. There are some good trails over there.
@MightyjJoe321 - Both songs in the video are by Rick Mugrage. The first song is called "Will Not Run". The second song (that starts around 3:18) is called "Numb".
swimerdude - yea, ht is no problem. I'm the rider in this video and I recently switched over to a ht. My speed is about the same and it is almost more fun. I'll regularly hit 34 on this trail. Run some good tires (like Schwable Racing Ralphs 2.4) and it is pure joy.
This is one of many great trails in the Boise foothills. The quickest access to the base of the trail is to park at the Corrals trail head a few miles up Bogus Basin Rd. Then ride on Corrals (heading east) for a mile or two and the Hard Guy trail head will be on the left.
sorry, I meant the absolute worst music ever.

Why do mountain bike vids have the absolute music ever?

looks awesome. can you do it on a hard tail? im getting a gary fisher wahoo disc and this looks awesome and i might want to do it.

Oh yea, a hard tail is no problem. The vast majority of the foothill trails in Boise are good on hard tails.

Nice video I'm jealous cause I'm at work and it's raining outside. I have a 08 fuel EX 9 as well and I love it.

This is my go-to trail for a super hard workout and a super fun downhill after the work is over.
