  • @satinISsexy It's different, guess if you have to ask you wouldn't understand. Besides this thing will carry WAAAAAY more than a moped.

  • What do you do on this bike? Fight the zombies from I Am Legend?

  • It now has a stokemonkey motor on it. I'm considering taking it off though because the bike now weighs over 100 lbs. Fun toy but I find I ride it less with the motor.

(and those aren't zombies, they are CG failures)

  • What is all the electric stuff for an what is it? Is see something underneed the down frame tube, i see something that looks like a small battery but i don't see any dynamo hub.

ps How much does this bike weight?

  • @sjampie67 Everything you see is lighting. Never did weigh the bike in this configuration but probably in the 30-40 lbs region. It weighs 100 lbs now with a Nuvinci Hub and Stokemonkey electric motor/battery.

  • @pigeonfarmboy Thanx! 40 lbs is 20 km right? Anyway love the parts you use.

  • Man I love this bike! Can one love a bike?

  • @rja12 It's got holes!.....er uhhh

  • @pigeonfarmboy SOLD!

  • @rja12 Seriously though, find one, and test ride it asap!

  • @pigeonfarmboy Plan on it but it will have to wait till next year probably. This year's bike budget was just spent last month on a Redline Monocog 29'er. Thanks for posting....beautiful!

  • why would u need that many waterbottles

  • Slick video... How are you digging the Loop H-Bars ?

  • whats the song called?

  • This is great music. What is it exactly ?

  • @JooSooConfusoo Sound wisdom!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • At 0:32 is it my imagination, or is your seat-retention cable not actually wrapped through your seat rails? (I don't know how the Thud Buster clamp works, so maybe this is okay)

  • what saddle is that? Sweet bike

  • @BJBRunner there's description for a reason ;)

  • @BJBRunner

saddle is a selle an-atomica, probably the clydesdale model. Wonderful saddle. This is one seriously equipped dummy..ready for the revolution or apocalypse..whichever comes first.

great bike, sometimes wish I had a reason to own one, just cant justify it. I neither tour or haul..

  • What a beauty. This is the Machine... I want one.

  • SAABOG! Six Pack and A Bag of Groceries. What else can you possible need to go with this great bike setup?

Love you saddle choice although you may find it just as comfortable without the thudbuster.

    Tom

    Selle An-Atomica

  • Indeed you can, and several have.

  • Thanks for the video. The rig looks great.

Is there a particular type of Planet Bike fenders you'd recommend (or is there only one kind)?

I use Klean Kanteen bottles and just found out they have a stainless steel bottle with a sip-spout but you have to buy the whole package.

  • Where did you bought that saddle holder?

  • What a gorgeous bike and equipment to... ;-)

  • another awesome looking bike man! is this one yours too?

  • Yes indeed.

  • they look good, and the instigator is the one im talking about, do you know where i can get one?

  • Surly has a dealer list on their site. If none of those are near you, order one from any bike shop that uses QBP for it's distribution. If you have to order, call up Surly to get a better idea for the right size frame you need.

  • yeah... so, do they make real off road bikes? i would like to know what if they do, i am into off roading and tricks, the kind where they jump off big cliffs and land on a 2 foot wide wooden bridge.

  • Certainly, The "1x1" single speed and the "Instigator" downhill models. Go to surlybikes[.]com

They're steel which is a nearly dead breed but they ride like butter compared to aluminum frames. Finding someone to weld aluminum frames can be difficult too.

  • Dude...wicked. Lovin' the build as you already know. And the music choice fits quite well.

  • you must really like the surly bikes dont you?

  • Yes very much. (I also have a Steamroller) Not many companies offer the line of bikes they do. They are reasonably affordable compared to similar makes. I'm also very happy with the build quality of the frames and components they make. Even though made overseas, they use top notch factories that do a great job.
