I just got a serpa! LOL even though its just for airsoft for me, when I get older Im going to get a Sig so that I will have a serpa for one aready!

Your first FOBUS Holster seems to be is LEVEL 1 Your second holster Level 2

I have the BLACKHAWK Level 2, wouldnt have any other type for going out

However Fobus does make a great Holster, it's up to you to decide which application you are using your weapon for, at the Range a level 1 is great, but for Duty, or personal protection applications Locking retention is the way to go,

I heard these holsters rub the finish off of pistols...has anyone experienced this?

@sabretooth75 I haven't experienced that, however I don't use them everyday either..but no issues so far.

@DudeGuy1973 I just had some guy approach me in a store when I was looking at some. He said it rubbed the finish off of his Smith & Wesson .44 Mag. Typically, I use Uncle Mike's nylon holsters. But when I get my G27, I'll likely get an IWB holster. Thanks for the response.

@sabretooth75 Whenever i go out to the everglades i always take my g22 with this exact holster.....yea on the slide close to the barrel im starting to see the wear....I dont think there is a holster that wont take off the finish......

Been carrying my Glock 23 in that exact same Blackhawk Serpa since i purchased it in december last year i love the setup you cant go wrong!!

I'm a retired LEO and I love this holster. I have it for the Glock 26/27 and S&W J-frames. I have them both set up for crossdraw for car carry. I highly recommend this holsters.
