  • hi

  • 1:36 in another video they said that chopsticks were originated about 4000 years ago....

  • LOL how do you eat rice with chopsticks....

  • get a chinese 2 make this. not a white guy. americans r not chinese. USE UR MIND HOWCAST!!!

  • @Ladygagafan752 fried rice is popular in the u.s too.

  • Shredded carrots? Seriously?

  • Comment removed

  • A friendly reminder here, it won't be like a walk in park to eat fried rice with chop sticks in you're not familiar with using chopsticks.

  • you DON'T use long grain rice. That is clearly a white person thing or something but you use SHORT grain. God, that's the rice asians use, stupid Howcast. Long grain rice gets hard when it's not ready and can't be eaten again. Dumbasses -_-

  • Yeah... That's how you make it.... Sure....

  • only asians can teach u how to make fried rice LOL

  • china originated 5000 years ago

  • @MrBlient lol.

  • dis sucks pen15

  • its horrible ...

  • well they say dont judge a book by its cover. then why are you judging this food when you haven't tasted it???

  • *insert Fuck yea picture here*

  • WELL BEING ASIAN this damn rice looks nasty

  • rice never gets fried.

  • Chop Stix originated in China about 5,000 years ago...TO KEEP PRISONERS FROM ATTACKING WITH FORKS AND KNIVES...I Guess Howcast.com forgot that part....

  • @TheTravis1971 Haven't you heard? A prisoner in China apparently used his chop sticks to commit suicide by stabbing it through his eye and stabbing his own brain.

  • at 0:53 does it say chim?

  • jeeee. I'm Asian and mi family makes about 3 types of food per day. cooking is in our BLOOD this doesn't look really good =|

  • Just made it, stupidly didn't look at the comments.

Had to add fucking paprika before I could even taste it.

  • They need Peter Chao to teach them.

  • Good

  • i love fried rice but have not been able to find a decent recipe maybe i will give it a try...

  • fucking bokgwai

  • Howcast needs to hire asians...

  • I don't add egg last because it sticks the rice. :P

  • @TheRikkiBelle you have to stir faster

  • Oh ny bad. Add rice after eggs.

  • and quickly scramble. 5) add meat and veggies. 6) add soy sauce and fish sauce. Add enough for personal taste. Don't completely cover the rice with it. It's strong and will taste VERY salty. Don't make the rice brown. Keep it white with a subtle beige color. 7) add salt if needed. 8) serve!

  • Disgusting. Worst fried rice I have ever seen. Here, let an Asian tell you how to make some. Ingredients) 1 egg. A clove of garlic. 1-4 large slices of ham or pork. You can use shrimp. A bag of frozen corn, a bag of frozen peas or snow peas/or a bag of both mixed. Fish sauce. Soy sauce. Salt. And rice. Usually, I use day old rice because it's kind of hard. Soft rice becomes verrrrrry mushy fried rice.

    1) heat up oil just so it covers the wok. 2) add pounded or finely chopped garlic. 3) add eg

  • Skip green onion. Add corn & asparagus.

  • Skip green onions. Add corn instead.

  • One word: TheOnepotChefShow! FTW

  • =\ you should have separated the rice before putting it in the pan so that when you toast them each grain will be coated =\

  • Just made it and yumm, mixed up the oil and rice step but it tured out just fine, thank @howcast

  • im 12 and this is impossible!!

  • i love fried rice but i have no idea have to make it! thank you howcast

  • So yummy! Homemade rice.

  • i want some

  • Felt the hunger while watching..

  • garnish with additional soy sauce? wtf?!

  • Yeah. Add the egg at the end. And don't forget the bacon for an additional flavour.

  • yummmm my fav

  • To the people who say this is terrible fried rice.. That is what happens when you have a white guy trying to teach you.

  • @sarskid only samurai can make fried rice

  • @sarskid thanks because iwas really about to make this lmao

  • my family;s: use rice from day before

(so I usually eat this for breakfast), cook egg separately then cook rice, add the ingredients and the egg, done.

  • That is NOT good fried rice. WAY too much soy sauce and the egg should be added LAST. Fried rice should not be mushy... We always used left over rice from the day before, it seems to work better than fresh made rice. Also sesame oil is a good addition.

  • hm in my opinion and way of tradditional cooking in family, egg should be add to rice and mix before fried it to keep eggs fresh and the rice all golden. And add meat, peas, carrot to the pan before add rices

  • @milo1605 Sounds yummy =D

  • Optional Not being allergic to any of the ingredients -___-

  • OHH HERRRO KITTEE

  • Whats with the music?

  • Why isn't he speaking in fob? T^T

  • meh, this fried rice is terrible, the rice sticks in clumps, it isnt tossed to ensure all round flavour, you add the egg LAST so its fresh and smooth, and you dun put soo many soy sauce until it turns to shit brown...

  • @mlxp ya only asians (like me) can make good fried rice

  • @mlxp thanks for the heads up i was really goin 2 make this lol

  • Your right. His rice is really lumpy. He must of had used really old rice that had been in the fridge for a week.

  • @mlxp There's dark soy o.o

  • @mlxp I did exactly what you sai and the rice turned out amazing! Thanks! However, every chinese or Indian cook I see on you tube does puts the eggs first. Don't know why.

  • @philipmarie1854 Most likely because for easier cooking, the mentality of putting everything in and then mixing it is popular in the west. Chinese cooking is very timing dependent, similar to baking, you need precise timing and temperature to make quality food, so by adding the egg last, you get a smooth texture instead of rough rubbery salty bits. Glad I helped :)

  • do you have a suk-a-dik chikun?

  • @GamesCyclone Yes we have orange Chikun ^_^ An Diet cock.....

  • @SK83RJOSH xD
