  • Your making me think now, i wonder if R had the hoard, good on him if he did they dived all the time, mostly off the Scillys, regards Russ.

  • @789holland There is a lot of confusion between the St Antony, Rill Cove, Schiedam and Dollar Cove sites. I am the licensee for the Schiedam and Rill Cove sites so have free access to the whole area.

  • Hi thanks for your reply, i did some work for RM some years ago he had lots of hoards, and put them in his museum in Penzance which is closed now, all the best to your treaure hunting, best regards Russ.

  • @789holland I'm not the treasure hunter on this project, just the cameraman. The coins that have been recovered so far aren't the main hoard that is believed to be there, I have an idea where it might be and will investigate when my boat is back in the water (side scan to show when sand is low). There is nothing in Dollar Cove, I have dived there when there is no sand, just rock.

  • Hi i think you'll find that Roland Morris found the wreck and the treasure some years ago, and the National trust told him if he were to bring up the hoard they were having half of it. So Roland told them he's leaving it where it is, but all the very best to you in your quest, Russ.

  • @789holland I think you'll find that the wreck has been plundered for hundreds of years, yes RM did go down there in the 80's and recovered some coins and a cannon. There are records of people trying to recover the hoard since the wreck sank. Whatever was there, isn't anymore.

  • i would love to be doing what he is
