  • Nice rate of climb

  • Girl Liner EEEEEEEEEEEÄäAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ^^

  • @StealthCessnaCombats lol yeah no joke.

  • The Tupolev Ty154M is my favourite aircraft of all time, what an amazing tribute to Russian technology at its best !!.

  • Very very unsafe. I think I will stick to my 777s and A340s thank you very much!

  • @kyawwaiyan They're actually just as safe as Western aircraft. It's the shoddy maintenence of the countries that fly them that lead to crashes

  • @kyawwaiyan OOW you're so right about that

  • 0:26 is the death of sounds and 0:39 is the screeching of ghosts

  • She screams better than my girlfriend

  • @Lvieru96 It's like an Ozzy Osbourne scream just in your ear :P

  • I hope I get to ride this lady b4 I die.

  • I will be flying into PyongYang on one of those... not looking forward to Air Koryo, I'm afraid to fly when it's modern aircraft, let alone a friggin TU-154

  • engine noise!!! :D

  • wow, I was exactly at the same airport and on the same kind of plane

  • J fucked tupolec 154M 101

  • WOW ! Super video ! :-D I love sound :`)

  • Impressive climb rate.

  • Nice video. It's pretty loud as for an airliner.

  • Russian jets are manlike!!! )))

  • I would love to fly (or even better) own one of these suckers just to enjoy the engines whine !!!

  • @piyush0anu Or engine fire !

  • @Westside7be Errrmmm... Duh! smart one, they stopped building most of them 20 years ago. And companies all over the world want business first then safety.

  • @TonyFirelli They stopped permanently in 2006

  • What a WONDERFUL engine noise! A MANS jet! Not the wussy turbofan hum of the new electric jets! Russian planes RULE!

  • @AeroNevin They crash and burn to often.

  • @my235 Errrmmm... Duh! smart one, they stopped building most of them 20 years ago. And companies all over the world want business first then safety.

  • @TonyFirelli yes, as a business company, it is indeed such a good namecard to have most of your clients fried

  • @Westside7be Well it's the truth... Nobody cares about safety anymore when competition is so high for business.

  • @my235

only 7 crashes by due to technical reasons of a more then 1000 built

  • This is another kind of return to past: Sit down comfortable, lean back, relax and turn up this fantastic music ! The engines give really everything, they would also rip out their own heart for giving yout the development of a safety flight *fG*

  • About the noise... I've heard several planes with low bypass turbojets taking off, and land. The last 2 were a IL-62 and a TU-154 on my trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg earlier this year. And they are extremely noisy... But... What a beautiful plane!!! Both of them.

  • I had the pleasure to fly on Tu-154, in '80's. I was too young to notice the sound, but the plane carried me from SVO to PRG. Does anyone agree with me, this plane is the most graceful of all civilian aircraft?

  • the Lada from the air

  • no wonder these things are banned in Europe with that noise.

  • отличное видео!!!!!

  • That engine sound is music to my ears!!

  • LOL, with that engine sound, I dont think I'll ever get on a TU-154, with the possibility of it exploding lol. Nice engine sound :)

  • beautiful plane

  • То что надо бляяя!!!! Машина сделаная руками советского народа.. Качество бляяя!!!!

  • @SthlmFARSTASTRAND Точно нах, хуйня ихние Боинги и Эйрбасы!

  • If TU154M was a woman, I would marry her.

  • @varigdc10 haha nice comment, but i would go for the L-1011 :D

  • @varigdc10 Haha , lol !! Certainly she would be very hot , delightfully old - fashioned , only equipped with analogic devices , screaming with no care about noise regulations !!..

  • @varigdc10 TU-154 is a swan, a beautiful and wonderful.

  • @varigdc10

then marry tu154 and fuck engine as pussy

  • @varigdc10 get married and crash after 2 weeks lol

  • @varigdc10 Tu-154M - is a man (one hole on the tail), Tu-154B-2 - woman (two holes)

  • MD-80's sound good, but these engines are just annoying! Having no bass makes them a pain to listen to..

  • @scaremengaviation In reverse they have the loudest base I have ever heard. Although obviously that doesn't come out on camera.

  • I thought MD-80s were bad...I don't think I'll ever ride a TU-154....

  • @FujiR500 It may be the older 154. The 154M's were made till 2006

  • @airconguy1 Yeah, but are they all that noisy? Jeez....did they switch engines on the 2006 models? They still all blow smoke like a freight train....

  • @FujiR500 All I know about some of the late model 154Ms was that they had a slightly more electronic cockpit. The 154Ms (later aircraft) were able to fly into europe with stage 3 noise regulations I believe. They might have swapped the engines and possibly added hush kits

  • @airconguy1 Nope still stage 2 in noise regulation... This is because of the Soloviev D-30KU-154 engines. They're fitted until the last model of 2006.

They can add a hush kit to reduce engine noise, but they aren't allowed.

I have been to Moscow and St. Petersburg.. The TU-154 is extremely loud. One landed while we were waiting on the train @ Domodedovo airport. But still planning to fly one...

  • @TheVeenmeister Why aren't the hush kits allowed?

  • @airconguy1 1. A hush kit cannot reduce engine noise to levels from modern airplanes. And most of the times the hush kits are quite expensive to purchase and fit. 2. Hush kits are used on older airplanes like Boeings 727, 737-100/200 and Russian planes like the TU-134/154 and IL-62. Because of safety regulations they're not allowed to the EU.

Of course there are some who could still fly those planes like Poland. They own 1 TU-154M for their government. The other one crashed earlier this year.

  • @TheVeenmeister Why are hush kits unsafe? Does that mean the last of the 732's were illegal in EU?

  • @airconguy1 Not the hush kits itself are unsafe but the planes their fitted on. And that rule went active a couple years ago. In 2008 it was still allowed to fly to Europe with those planes. TU-154's were still landing on Dusseldorf Airport Germany. The EU has the most strict regulations in airtraffic. Including what plane can fly over and in to Europe or not. Also most of the older planes are not fitted with the latest safety and guidance systems. That is also a reason.

  • @FujiR500 Yeah md 80s are real quiet compared to these

  • Wow what annoying engine noise....my head would explode.

  • I love you my baby TU 154!

  • i wont stand this sound performing a long period flight

  • @fastest2000 The high pitched noise is only present during the take off sequence, during climb cruise and landing phase the sound in the cabin isnt that high.

  • Well I think that major planes with the engines in the back part sound very similar. Tu -154 is only the loudest of them...

  • this video destroyed my eardrums..!!

  • Jesus Christ thats loud!! Its like attaching piccolo petes and listening to them scream off!! Very nice video!!

    Check out mine!!

  • Where were you headed for after leaving Moscow?

  • Where was the destination for this aircraft after leaving Moscow?

  • @miamad Boeing on statistics fell much more Russian planes

  • @TheMercus Wrong my communist comrade, wrong! The number of flights boeing arcraft has is THOUSANDS of times more. It is not even close!

  • @miamad You have absolutely no fucking clue what you wrote there, Redneck. You're a retard and your mom must be a how to produce a fucktard like you!

  • AWESOME SOUND GREAT!

  • great sound, great plane!

  • Wow, that's some steep turn.

  • great sound! russian power!

  • резкий влет.

  • Now THAT is a wonderful engine noise!! So much nicer than bunny-rabbit engines on new planes!! New engines sound like vacuum cleaner. This sounds like REAL jet. This is a MANS plane!!!

  • il-62 il-76 Tu-154 all use the same engine

  • @21boxhead Almost the same They use the same engine based but slightly modified for each of these planes; D-30KU

  • Wow, those engines surely have cojones.

  • fantastic video, thanks! :D

  • very nice sound

  • they are loud because they are low bypass engines...pretty much phased out in the west for airliners.

  • @MrSansar70

ich komme aus russland und bin schon oft mit tupolev geflogen

    hab keine angst

  • @Russian4ever77 warum nicht?

  • The engines are at te back so it's that noicy, but beautiful!

  • so noisy

  • wow hellish engines love that wowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowow i still cant hears anything hehe =)

  • It is very sad that this type had very bad luck in the past (accidently shot by air force more than one time, pilot errors, terroristic attacks aso), because I think it is a very pretty plane and with a good pilot and maintenance, it is absolutely as safe as other planes. Thanks for the video! Great sound :D.

  • I flew on the 154M with LOT in the 90's. It was a pleasant an uneventful flight. The engines howl like that, feels like a military aircraft

  • musica per le mie orecchie!

  • I want to fly in one... what a lovely sound...

  • This plane for the record is one of the better TU planes. Most of the accidents in the past were NOT caused by the failure of the aircraft but by human error. They have been the workhorse of the Russian/Russian State and were built very well. Love the wheel retraction and the roar fantastic....

  • i'd never ride in this kind of plane! seem dangerous, can't believe the polish president died on this plane today in crash! pretty awesome engine sounds tho

  • The sooner these are taken out of the skies the better, terrible reputation over the years. I love the looks and sounds but far too old now to be flying!!!

  • @RSTurbo50 Some are less than ten years old.

  • It's sad that today all passengers , including Polish President Lech Kaczynski, died when one of these aircraft crashed. Personally, I really like the Tu 154 and have flown in it several times and if there was any doubt about the type's reliability the President wouldn't have been on board. However, accidents such as this won't help its reputation.

  • Small wonder why she's known as "The Bullet." :-)

  • The Soloviev D-30KU: How low-bypass 'fans should sound.

  • I wonder what model that was? Russians are very experienced pilots (especially the old ones) from the Soviet Times.

Russians make the best aircraft, no wonder the old ones still fly!

  • @bestbets1 yeah russians planes have a really nice safty record mate! :) i renember when i flew once and there was a whole between the window and cabin so air came in lol

  • Simple one of the safest airplanes in the business, Russian planes are quality, give me a ticket for Aeroflot please man

  • @Moution23 Simly check the statiticks and you will find that it's not so safe.... But i like that plane.

  • Very high pitched!

  • Beautiful engine sounds!

  • @320k i fly in those quite often it rings in your ear and it is kinda get irritating after a while but the plane is a beauty

  • @320k Heavenly engine sounds!

  • klapperkiste!

  • Russian pilots are very experienced. Because Russian education system is perfect.

  • I've flown from this airport on a Tu 154. It was a great experience and this video captures the experience really well. Personally, I really like the TU 154m and I agree about the wonderful sound of the engines.

  • Thats got to be the best plane sound ever.

  • tu 154m is good but they not allowed to fly in europe becuase they are making so much noise!!!!

  • Tu-154M is allowed to fly europe, other models not.

  • They do smoke a lot as i saw one landing in cyprus and it had lots of smoke

  • Arggg.... my ears! what a whinney engine!

  • That's pretty loud.

  • i really love that whinning, they should never have been banned from brittish airspace, jet engines just dont sound like jet engines anymore, more like hairdriers

  • the best place to fly on one of these is in Cuba, or going to Cuba on Cubana

  • those three engines are screaming like hell ...amazing

  • @ryr067

The whine is a characteristic of the d30 turbines, and an afterburning version is used in the mig31.

  • That engine sound is amazing!

  • Good. Stay the fuck off it and all the videos, too.

  • ok east european

  • I know I'm going to get "thumb downed" for this but this jet sounds like a blender on it's last leg.

  • Yeah, but it sounds like a blender that provided many years of reliable blending on its last leg. :-)

  • what kind of blender do you use?

  • An old Osterizer beehive have I bought for eBay and when I tested it out, that's what it sounded like. I still have and use it for a coin jar.

  • @TJDG1

I uploaded a video of the blender I was referencing to.

  • NIIIIIICCCEEE!!!! Great video!

  • а куда летел?

  • love it

  • love the noise i'm a real aircraft freak, thanks for putting on utube

  • After the flight...can you still hear?? ..What did you say?? What?

  • It's not really all that loud...not like an IL-62, anyway. Plus it's only loud during takeoff. Cruise is good.

  • i feel anxious when geting on and flying by such planes, russian planes are not good planes, they are making so much noise.only the united states` planes are acceptable.

  • what about airbus even better then amercas'

  • This "noise" is the best on such plane :)

And the "american" boeings have too much computer technology - it can be dangerous in some situations, where the "human" has to take the right decision . Tu-154 ForEver :)

  • One of most noisy aircrafts of the world but actually I really like TU-154M and it is very comfortable
