  • Some good instructions is this the same for English 8 ball with the cushions being different?

  • i didn't even know what this was before I watched this video. Very comprehensive guide!

  • nice vid, keep up the good work. Kick shots are very crucial inone-pocket,or any other game.:)

  • I thank u for showing this video, i suck at kick shots, so now im gonna use the information i got on the pool table.

  • Now, i'm just wondering, if you hit the cue at the rail, at the exact angle and with the exact amount of english needed, is it possible to make the cue ball go parallel with the rail?

  • Do you ever play golf on a snooker table? Kicking is such an important part of the game. Would like to see you do a video defending the out hole. Many times your man is near or in front of the out hole and you must legally hit his ball away and leave him where he cannot go out. Or you sell out. Would you setup some shots that you cannot just simply drive your ball into the ball sitting in front of the out hole knocking it away but; have to drive your ball or cue ball 2 or more rails. .

  • Thank you so much. I always wanted to know how the angle of the cue ball was affected when hit off the rail. I had an idea of how it worked but you explained everything i needed to know so thank you! Great vids keep up the good work!

  • Efren!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'd like to thank you and the other players/teachers that are willing to put their knowledge online. I realize that there is a profit to be made, but some of us are unable to get weekly lessons or buy all the training materials.

  • @onecalloused The only profit I make from this is viewer support. Occasionally an appreciative viewer will donate to me on my website. Any support helps me pay for the domain space for the website and the domain name. I also have expenses with upgrading my camera and computer. Thanks for watching.

  • Great video. this is my weakness.. damn. u know something call the diamond system?

  • thanks for it. my weakness is this. any drills for this?

  • the shot at 2:50 - i was always pissed at those mirror images - if you have the CB in the middle of the table and OB in the pocket, you cant just put the ghost CB on the rail, because you dont know the angle from the cushion to the OB, to make the half way from ghost CB and OB -.- gahhh

  • Knowing this helped me alot. I had no clue about this kicking method. Never really had any one to teach me the game. Had to try to learn everything my self. Thx for the info

  • the person who taught me taught me 1,2,3,4,and5 rail bank shots but not on a snooker table

  • Has nothing to do with the video but thanks

  • cant wait to practice theses new (to me) drills. thanks

  • "this is forcefollower reminding you to shoot pool and not people" LOL thats awesome man.

Thx for the upload btw it helped me a ton : )

  • this is great, thanks

  • i`d like to thank you :)

  • Thanks for your videos, I've been going out to shoot pool (not people) after watching your videos and tried out some of your examples. Still not perfect (me) but I would have never gotten this "good" this quickly without your videos. Very much appreciated. By the way, love your kid running around in some videos, bet you gonna teach it to play soon, eh? :)

  • i love how u aid teach "it" hahaha srry just had to point that out man no offence to u

  • nice awesome

  • man you should be a teacher. thanks for all your material

  • It just so happens that I am a teacher. Just not a billiards teacher full time "YET." Thanks for the comment.

    Best,

    Marcus

  • good videos. Please though, play the shots back in realtime so we can see the actual live motion and speed of the ball. *then* play a slowed down version show us what happened. Based on that footage I can't tell how fast the ball is moving.

  • wow

  • Good videos forcefollow. Important stuff. Just one thing: I think the forward spin on the cue ball causes it to actually curve into a wider angle after contacting the rail. still very informative

  • You're absolutely right!

  • Great tip!

  • Pretty informational video. I like your style. I'm a beginner at pool myself, and I've learned quite a bit.

  • Good video, but at parts it was hard to understand u especially in the beggining

  • perfect, i was looking for a way to measure kick shots, thanks

  • cool video

  • great video ! thanks again...
