Can I say one thing- I created the first version of this video at 640 x 480 , h.264, 2000 kbps, following all the guidelines, and while it looked gorgeous on my home computer it got translated into a fuzzy mess once uploaded. So I canned it and tried a bunch of test uploads. What worked was reducing the AUDIO encoding to IMA/ 22Khz. vid still at h.264 30 fps/ keyframe every 30. I guess that leaves enough bitrate left over for decent video. Worth a shot, anyhow- reduce your audio.
