Thank you beautiful for responding back to my comment post. I too love your locks and only wish that I had the patience and no-how to deal with my own. I am still somewhat of the tom-girl when it comes to doing my own hair and it is so much easier to just do it up in a pony. I would love to know what type of leave-in conditioning products you use on your h when it is too short to wear the style you really want but too long to manage or ignore. Do you have any tips sweets?
Your hair is ridiculous! How do you manage all of that?! I'm only two years in and my hair is thick, I don't know what I'm going to do come year 3, 4 and 5! LOL, thanks, please keep the vids coming.
omg thank u so much my hair is just like yous and i used to hate wearing it natural but than i get tired of straightening it,and that hair style is so cute..i love it anymore plzz let me know lol..Ooo do u know wat i can do from havin my hair feel dry lol thanks :)
Good Morning! I am catching up with my responses. Please accept my apology for not answering sooner. To combat dryness be sure to use water to moisturize your hair. You can use a spray bottle of water to moisturize your hair. Immediately after spraying (dampening) your hair with water, SEAL in the moisture with a carrier oil such as (extra virgin olive, coconut, almond) or use an emollient rich conditioner after dampening your hair with water. Water is t
Water! WATER! WATER! Water is what moisturizes our hair; not oil. Use moisturizers that have water as one of the first ingredients. Also another suggestion is to stay away from products with silicones. Silicones can cause curly hair to become dry. Silicones seal the cuticles of our hair wish cause a barrier and prevents water and oils from penetrating into the hair shaft. If you do use silicones, please remember to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo then deep condtion.
@MuNcHieS86TIGGER Be sure to moisturize your hair everyday with water. Yes, water! Use a spray bottle and dampen you hair with water. Then apply a leave in conditioner that has natural oils in the formula. Sometimes, I also apply olive, coconut, almond, or black castor oil to my ends to seal in the moisture. You are welcome! Thank you! You're Perfect :)
@Apriluv7779 You can also use 100% RAW Shea Butter. Do not go to Walmarts, CVS to get it cuz it will not be the real deal. RAW SHEA BUTTER has NATURAL OILS and VITAMINS in it. Or do what I did. I went to my local FLEA MARKET and got some RAW SHEA BUTTER which only cost me $5.00 and put fish oil, vitamin e, and olive oil in it. Yes Shea Butter already has vitamin E in it but I put more. Trust me all you need is just a little. You can use this on you skin as well and as a deep conditioner.
May I correspond with you privately, occasionally or periodically, or even daily and casually. Merely in a friendly, enlightening and edifying intellectual discourse?
Unfortunate for me I am a faithfully married man; nevertheless, I must confess there is an aura of peace, love, and beauty that manifest from you on video.
Very well done. Your hair looks so healthy. Adding the scarf was a nice touch. I like this style since it does not use a regular head band which I get tired of always having to wear when I want to put my hair back. 10000 stars!
Thank you for the warm compliment. I have not relaxed my hair in over 10 years. I also stopped using permanent hair color to cover my grey. I haven't flat ironed my hair since January of this year. To achieve the length I have took about a year. I have been cutting much of my hair off because I wanted to get rid of the permanent dye and henna.
Don't you just hate that we have to use almost half the bottle of every product...they should make every hair product for us in BULK SIZE ..LOL
