The Bears had big time injuries as well. Still won 7 games. they are improving their team greatly by getting healthy, bringing in new players, and bringing in better coaches. Any denying that is a lack of common sense.

Peppers used too be a dominating player, he's lost a lot this past year... 5.5 of his 10.5 sacks came against Tampa Bay and Washington... HARDLY impressive.
Repeat of 2009 season.
Jay Cutler will lead the league in interceptions too. He's the new age Jeff George.

They didn't add crap to your offense that looks like crap all year long... Peppers isn't a top tier player anymore... giving WAY too much for an aging DE who has MAYBE two more decent year's left.

It would be great if the Bears do sign Peppers. I'm not saying it will turn the Bears into title contenders, but it will at least improve the pass rush to a woeful Bears defensive line.

A commentator said that the Panthers blitz fewer times than almost any team in football. Imagine the force he could be if not dbl or triple teamed most of the game.
