@MercenaryExtreme To install the homebrew channel, you need a regular SD card. After you have the homebrew channel you can use an SDHC card (they're usually > 2gb). So yes you can.

@batemunch Lol nah, they all run off of your SD card through a channel called The Homebrew Channel. That's it, no other necessary peripherals (although some do support USB's ie. emulators).

@MrPokemonfreak9 You need to put each app (boot.dol with meta, and icon) in a folder, then put that folder in the apps. Do that for every app and the homebrew channel should pick them up.

It's best to play Wii backups off of a external hard drive. I made a backup of "Super Smash Bros." and burnt it onto a disc and it lagged during the intro video which sucked (same thing happened to "Super Mario Galaxy"). But, when I put them on my hard drive and played them on "Neo Gamma R7" they worked perfectly without lag.

@ajps124 There is no way you can store games onto the actual emulator or the homebrew channel. You must have them stored on your SD Card or USB.

Yes, that means you need to use some external source (USB, SD, HDD) because the Wii obviously has no memory (512mb) to load a 4gb game stored in it (it's not even possible).

Yes, you don't need a modchip for any of this.

You won't ruin your wii by using homebrew. Unless your dumb and delete something from the wii's internal system menu which I doubt you even know how to do. So you shouldn't be worried. I don't know what region games and Israel are but good luck.
