How can she talk bad about "A Wednesday" or "S M", they are amazing movies... A Wednesday doesnt say go kill people, it talks about one guy who can't stand it anymore and does what he think he has to do... its not about wrong or right, that's a person's perception of how to get rid of terrorism. SM is never about poverty; its about "Hope" and that is exactly how all the sensible people (all the americans I met) would perceive it. A publicity obsessed woman, that is all she is.

Shoba de has nothing to say. She is reactionary for the sake of it. She completely lacks content. I hope the Indian government is embarrassed in to action for dealing with the poverty it perpetuates. Also rich middle class Indians need to do more to help their countrymen and women. The film is fantastic and Indian's should be proud their country has focussed our minds on humanity, hope and triumph of human character.

As always shobha de is talking nonsense. I dont know why the hell media invite her for debate. She is actively pessimistic person. About slums, how many percent of her income goes for slum people? Since independence politicians played blame game and shobha de is baap (sorry, maa) of all politicians. If I would be a politician I would have sued her for sure. And next day you will find stories of her seducing the judge.

haha seriously, you're so right. she has to say something negative to catch the media's eye. It wasnt rahman's best work? seriously? you're going to demean oscar winning work as mediocre? sure, you might not think its the best, but the least you can say is it was deserving!

I think it says a lot that A R Rahman wins oscars for something that wasn't his "best" work....It proves that A R Rahman is a gift of genius and the western media/ Oscars has only begun to realize it .... :)
