  • looks great... i wishd id had m535i and 745i

  • I never seen one of those engines I thought it was a v8 lol so what cc is it?

  • @AndyPole hehe, no an I6 at 3.4Liters (3430cc stock with a turbocharger) :) There is also a 3.2liter turbo engine from the 745i, it was so many years ago i had this car that i don't really remember, i've had dozens of car since, numbers get mixed up sometimes :) But that should be correct. Old engines, but reliable and good for ALOT of hp, that is if you find one, which is really hard in europe! In north america, practically impossible!

  • How is that a 745i engine?

  • @AndyPole BMW e23 745i look it up

  • Also what exhaust is that?

  • Is it hard to find parts for the 745 engine? I'm looking to buy a 535 with a smilie swap?

  • GEIL GEIL GEIL :)

  • Dear god you bought this car for 3000?

    Color me jealous.

  • @Justa318i, yes, but unfortunately it was crashed due to a moron in the traffic, 18 hours after it was bought. I was driving along a headroad and there was this guy in his big black SUV coming from a smaller road to the left, he was supposed to stop at the stop sign, but he just kept on going without even looking to the right. And because this car wasn't even near road legal, it makes insurance unavailable over here. Luckily i have another black e28 which has gotten almost all donation parts.

  • thats sick. how does it handle with that extra weight in the front?

  • Why not just turbo the 535 engine?

It would make the same outcome ?!?!

  • Eh?

    Not really, ey.

A 745i engine is a m106 not a m30 engine. Sure it's based on the same engine, but still not the same. The 745i has a lower comp as the 745 has turbo from factory. The 745 has better components inside to work good with the turbo. But sure, you could turbo a 535 engine, but it still won't be the same. Go read about the m106 engine and you'll probably understand that your post seems to be something else than just cocky. Please know what you're talking about before you comment.

  • Sure buddy, but i think you're the one who's made the big mistake here.

    Bushing 350-400bhp..

could have gone and bought a 3.8 e34 m5 engine and had alot more potential in there..

and you'd be at 340+ bhp standard !

But hey, i geuss when theres nonsense theres no sense.

  • Comment removed

  • Geez man, i wasn't the guy who put down the engine into the car, i only owned it, i bought the car for $3000, how much can you ask for that? Should i require a bmw v10 engine in it or what you twat?

My god. If you'd be building a turbo car, used the s38b38 should i tell you back that you're a moron because you could've used a BMW v10 that would've give you 507bhp standard instead of those small 340bhp? etc etc?

Talk about no sense to me? Is it burning in your head? I bet it is..

  • Go read about the m106 engines btw, it seems pretty clear that you got 0 experience with it.

  • For those $3000 i got m5 suspension, m5 e34 rear diff, msd ign, msd fuel pump, line lock, e34 m5 nürburg wheels and loads of other nice things, except for that the car was in mint condition which only that'd be worth it.

  • car looks real nice, sounds great too

  • if you notice that guy doesnot have a giant exhaust but still sounds loud. That loud sound comes from the engine itself. That distinguishes the original grand tourism cars from the fake changed rocket exhaust pipes rubish, fairy christmas tree cars

  • u must be referring to those big fart cans lol i hatem too

  • What the hell kind of a statement is that? All exhaust sounds come from the engine itself. The size of the exhaust has little to do with how loud it is. I could make you a 2" straight pipe and a 3" exhaust with a cat, suitcase muffler and multiple resonators. One would be unbearable, the other close to stock sounding.

  • Nice!

  • sweet ride.

  • I have never seen an e28 this cool.

  • brilliant sound!!!!!!!!

  • /watch?v=kmoUDmSQk18#GU5U2spHI_4

  • Synd att den är smälld, eller om den kanske hunnit bli fixad nu?

  • That the E28 545i beast from hell! I love that nice sound, porno man!

  • Acabas de demostrar lo mucho que sabes de coches...

  • Fan va snyggt ljud!

  • ooo, nice sound a hell of a delicious beast

  • AWESOME!!!! That is the badest ASS Car i have ever seen!!! THE ENGINE SOUNDS LIKE ALL HELL HAS JUST BROKEN LOOSE! NICE FAT CAM IN THAT M30

  • ffs vilket hemskt bludder

  • fett

  • Cool sound. BMW straight 6's are the thing.

  • Wow that car sounds very cammy!

  • i love how you blacked out all the chrome i was thinking of doing the same to mine

  • rebel yell

  • i need dat body kit were can you get it >>>>>>

  • awesome in high RPM....but low rpm doesn`t work properly....engine tune, fast! go go go

  • RRROAARRR!!! I have 520i :D

  • Vilket gött ljud den hade ! önskade att det lät så om min 535

  • Hi scca is sports car club of america hence the scca.....I use a stock 1988 325ix in it and regularly smoke newer cars with more power. The e30 chasis is just too well balanced and lighter than the new ones so I think drivers of the newer cars tend to over power them rather than maintaining smooth lines.

I guess in europe it is much easier to source 745i engine parts than here in the states..........I bet you have soem good leads on parts...... ;)

  • Yeah.. Too bad he bent the roof on that thing.. Went like an IRS man chasing a rapper..

  • I own a 83 745i and your not supposed to rev the engine at a standstill to help provide to the engine life.

  • Oh well my slow friend.

It's much you're not supposed to do ;)

And there is much you shouldn't do.

Those 2 options is 2 completely different things :)

  • Well better to have two cool uncrashed BMWs than one which might be looking at a short life span........BTW is you want to talk slow, just meet at a scca event, you bring your 535 turbo and I will use my plain old 325ix :)

  • just awesome

  • Something isn't adjusted properly that's why it wants to die at idle, but its sound's good.

  • btw, it's adjusted totally fine. the camshaft is very aggressive :)

  • Single pipe exhaust? What gives. That should be dual 2.5 inch low pressure for engines over 2.5 litre (it'll sound nicer and go better). Good luck with the repair.

  • Did you notice that it says "Turbo-engine" or did you miss that ? ;-)

3" straight exhaust is way better on a turbo-engine when it's heavily tuned :-)

  • Sorry but i don't have any documentation on the web.

I crashed this car in the summer 2006, and it's being repaird as we speak.

The car got about 60cm shorter. hehe.

but if you are interrested about the project and have further questions add me on msn messenger:

    skillz @ zatzy dot com

without the spaces and dot = .

  • Hi. I´m interested with this project because I owno E28 too. I have a question - Have You any web pages with photos and with documentation on this project?? If You have, can You give me link please? Thank you very much! Shark power!! ;) MisanekCz

  • i need to wipe my self up. fu%k me that was the best

  • Bo Selecta says : I almost did a sex-wee! oh my god, that sounds soooo nice! E28s are awesome, the turbo is a rare and awesome bit of kit!
