I played this back in college for a solo recital just the clarinet, what a beautiful piece by itself!

This song was to be believed, and known as his last composition. You can hear it... It's a beautiful, and heart moving song, it's just... So sad to think of it as one of his last..

I got here becuase of Giorgio Moroders verson on the "American Gigolo" soundtrack, called "Hello Mr W.A.M. (Finale)". That is a fantastic version of it, even though it can't be called "modern version" since it is from 1980, but still sounds quite fresh. Good to hear the original though, even though I much prefer the Moroder one. Fantastic tune either way!

I can imagine how beautiful this concerto is for clarinet. It reflects on Mozart's childhood, what a genius Mozart is! I certainly enjoy this piece! Thanks @Mastersofclassical. And when I listen to this, I will think of my friends. :D

@errortherealist: Actually, the clarinet was a very modern instrument in Mozart time. So you can call this the modern music of more than 2 centuries ago. Mozart uses the unique sound and timbre and the huge reach of the instrument from the lowest to the highest note quite well. Absolutely one of my favorites!
