  • This is so beautiful...what's funny is that my current research and spiritual focus has been on Amma/Asherah...the sounds of your voices, so mournful. The surrounding trees seem almost to be leaning to hear, or perhaps grieving over the fallen tree. How appropriate in imagery this is...the missile, phallic symbol of "male supremacy" mowing down the female tree, but still life continues, with the mother taking on a myriad of forms, not the least of which, the two women honoring Asherah here.

  • Shine on Me Mother, Queen of Heaven, Your Lowly son Has Come Back to You!

  • MY NAME IS ASHERAH!

  • @FreeOneSolo It's based on truth. Asherah is the mother of all living. She is the light that makes up everything we see. Yahweh is the dark matter that holds it all together. I'll send you a link or two to check out. I don't pull many things out of my ass.

  • Barechu et Asherah hamevorechet

    Beruchah Asherah hamevorechet le'olam va'ed

    Beruchah gedulat Asherah Shekhinah

  • Asherah was the Light that came from within Yahweh. Yahweh spoke her out as SHRH. Asherah minus the vowels.

  • Thanks alot for commenting Adam. What is soothing about it most to you?

  • it has a soothing power , a healing power

  • The voices is what is captivating, their sound is not modern but ancient. I think it calls t something deep within us all.

  • Asherah was the wife of El, the god of Abraham. You Jews can pretend that Moses and Abraham worshiped the same god, but the did not. The god of Moses was the Israeli god of murder, Yahweh.

  • This is soo peaceful. I wish I could have been there.

Shema Yisrael Asherah Elohataynu, Asherah shlemah.

Beruchah avodau gedulat havayatah l'olam vaed

  • @bdrabek Blessed be Ima-le great Asherah !

  • What do you love about the video? Can you be more specific? Would love to know.

  • I have been looking for information on Asherah for a while. I love this video!

  • I am unaware of any credible Biblical scholar today who denies that Asherah had a role in Israelite worship, particularly before Josiah's reforms. The Canaanites mimicked Israelite worship and corrupted the role of Asherah in their theology. Nevertheless, Asherah can be found all over the Old Testament, one just needs to know where to look. The First Temple Priests were so angry with Asherah being removed from the temple that they went into the desert. Then Babylon destroyed the Temple.

  • She wasn't a Hebrew goddess.... She was Canaanite.... which makes her Hamitic and not Semitic...

  • Just deal with the fact that the Hebrews weren't always Monotheists.

  • @HoundofOdin

No, they worshipped other deities, the Tanakh says so. But, Asherah came from the Canaanites, not the Hebrews. The Hebrews may have worshipped Asherah (As well as Ba'al, they two were almost never separated), but she wasn't "their" god/goddess. YHVH was, and will be. Anyway, they "borrowed" her from the Canaanites.

  • @Shachah223 in fact, She was both a Hebrew Goddess & a Canaanite Goddess--THAT'S WHY THE MALE JUDGES HATED HER, BECAUSE SHE IS MOTHER BOTH OF JEW & NON-JEW, MOTHER OF BOTH "STRAIGHT" & "QUEER", SHE IS MOTHER OF ALL GODDESSES & GODS (hamitic & semitic)

  • @yusufolokun

She wasn't a Hebrew goddess, she was worshiped by them, but she was a Canaanite deity originally. Male judges?? Who are you talking about? Umm... "straight" and "queer" weren't used back then. And no, Semiramis was the first Goddess, Asherah descended from her by legend. And Semiramis transcends Semitic and Hamitic titles and also is found in Japhitic titles as well. So, yeah. Semiramis predates Asherah. :)

  • Kdsh...set apart ...holy....

  • Thanks alot for wanting more. It gives me a push to continue. Eliana

  • @musicpeace please continue :-). You should release a CD dedicated to Asherah/Our Living Goddess with such beautiful sounds, would help many to connect to Her.

  • very beautiful, wish it were longer
