  • I wonder if that hospital was connected to the one for the culinary insane? the one the french chef escapes in Mission Pachable

  • one of my fave episodes

  • looking for a source for the High Bulk index garlic powder.

    Little help?

  • Making his onion dip as i watch this ^.^

  • It's great to see Paul not being all retarded as shit. I never liked his character.

  • the shot at 6:13 is really fucking cool.

  • Was he playing checkers with Marshmallows and Crackers? Another AB win!

  • I like how he dances with a "crock" or a "crack pot" in the best sense of the word.

  • does anyone know where one could get the canisters he uses for his Kosher Salt?

  • @rltouchette he sells em on his website :3

  • Is This mental hospital story based on anything? movie?

  • @ChristopherLeeHaig Probably the hospital in "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest".

Though the name of the episode is taken from the film "Reefer Madness".

I've never seen that movie so I don't know if there is a mental hospital in that one.

  • u probly forgettin to salt them as soon as u put em in there..

  • Ok...I really gotta know.

What onion does he use for the first dip? I've tried red, white, yellow, vidallias (sp?). I cannot get them that color without burning them--no matter how low the heat is. -.-

    What am I doing wrong?

  • Are you using enough oil, and stirring -frequently-? You can't really walk away from onions when they're cooking because when they're cut that small, they burn really easily.

  • Maybe...could be I'm not stirring as much as I should. Then again..didn't think they needed much stirring due to a previous episodes where he burlee (sp?) the onions. Which he called burned. I'll give it a shot though, and add a touch more oil. Thanks. ^^

  • Sure thing hon. ^_^ Good luck!

  • i believe he used white onions. i think you have to carmelize them, and sautee them until they get brown,it takes about 20 minutes or so

  • Use sweet onions, lower the temperature, sprinkle a little sugar on top at the beginning.

  • The mental hospital I was in wasn't that nice...

  • mine is like you are in jail

  • i love the rewinding!

  • LOL may-o-naise lol loved how he said that

  • also Mr.brown do u need ur pill lol

  • i like the scene at 5:30. it reminds me of brad pitt in 12 monkeys.

  • Same here, I think it's meant to mimic it :)

  • I know, buts it used as a dip right?

  • Yup, the origin of the term has little meaning anymore.

  • That's right. It's just like mayonnaise is a condiment, but the Brits dip their french fries in it anyway.

  • Salsa is a dip right?

  • Actually, Salsa is a sauce... the spanish word salsa even means sauce.

  • But, it also makes a good dip.

  • for some reason chicken livers just really doesnt seem tastey

  • why not try it first?

  • chicken livers, breaded and deep fried then served with ranch or blue cheese dressing are delicious!

  • i love his red and white suit.

  • and i want to see the sushi good eats episode

  • me too

  • how can u submit these vids without geting it deleted cause of copyright stuff

  • My guess is they got smart and don't mind the free publicity.

  • Ashley-

He moves the knife only very slightly. The idea is that the knife always stays on the top of the food, rather than move his cutting hand around the avocado.

  • Oh, no I realize that it is helping and all but he just says that it contradicts what he says... It was just an observation not an error being pointed out.

  • Ashley, he's moving the knife over the pit and even then he's barely moving it less than an inch I'd say. You fail, get back to the kitchen, woman.

  • Lol, thanks. I never said he was erratically moving the blade around. Jesus. I love me my Alton as much as the next guy. IT WAS AN OBERSERVATION, AN OBSERVATION I SAY!

  • and a good observation, but I'd say it was just a slight contradiction

  • Actually he said 'move the knife as little as possible' not 'don't move the knife'

  • This was a great episode!

  • lol. TV time folding makes me smile. =D

    LTH is teh awesome!

  • Aww, i saw this one on the food network already, i still watched all of this...
