  • Thank you, eamonn, I am so happy the gift God has given me blesses you. I so want to use it to give glory to God and to bless others and also bring others closer to God through my voice. The Lord bless you!

  • I bless you in the name of Jesus! I am not going to fight with words because it is really not worth it. Jesus calls us all into unity, and what you and I believe may be different, but we will all know in the end. All I want to do is give all the praise and glory to Jesus and bless His name at all times. He is an amazing God and I thank God for his shed blood. I bless you in the name of Jesus JustAboutMyFaith! :) Have a wonderful day!

  • I'm sorry but Christ's blood was spilled on the ground at the foot of calvary's cross. It was not collected into a fountain. Nor was it retained in a pool we can take a cleansing bath in. Nor was it deposited into an account we can make withdrawls upon. Heb.9:22 says apart from the shedding of blood, God can not now, nor ever could, forgive anyone's sins merely because they ask Him to. And Heb.10:10 says it has already been shed once and for all. So stop asking God to do what He's already done !

  • Mate - I was not going to bother but I have seen you post this comment on so many videos for different songs that I just feel I need to say get over it.

Jesus died once and for all yes, but He invites us continually to come to him and receive that grace - that is what the poetic language of the song is saying.

Now go and do something useful rather than seek out people to criticize!!

  • That's because there are so many postings of this song. By grace I presume you mean forgiveness. So where in the bible does it say that we need to ask for forgiveness over and over again ?

  • I get the idea it's symbolic. But do you see the hypocrisy ? Because I find it quite ironic while most Christians have eyes to see the allegory in this song, they are also simultaneously (but yet not surprisingly) somehow blind to see how the exact selfsame metaphor has manifested and played itself out in their own relationship with God (when what they should be doing is thanking Him instead for the complete and total forgiveness He's already provided for at Calvary some 2000 years ago) !

  • 1 John 1:9 seems to point to post conversion confession for continued forgiveness. I'm very grateful for Calvary and that even though I know I'm more than likely to fail to reach God's standard day by day I can continue recieve forgiveness. Be blessed - over and out before this gets silly!

  • 1Jn.1:9 has been mistranslated in every translation since Gutenberg invented the printing press. Because in the original manuscripts, it wasn't written in the English "present" tense. But rather in the Greek "aorist" tense. Which refers to a one time event (i.e. Calvary) with perpetual and ongoing effectiveness. So when we confess our sins, we don't have to repeatedly ask for what only the shedding of more blood can accomplish ! Because He already has forgiven us all our sins ! Heb.10:10&14(KJV)

  • I am soo glad that you use the KJV Bible it's the only true BIble that hasn't been translated to suit the way of the world..

    PRAISE GOD!!!

  • I agree the KJV is the closest translation we have to the original Hebrew & Greek manuscripts. But even the KJV has erred in its translation of 1 John 1:9 by its improper use of the English "present" tense rather than the proper Greek "aorist" tense. And so contrary to what you evidently have been mislead to believe, the KJV is not the perfectly preserved word of God. And so I'm sorry. But again. Other than the original Hebrew & Greek manuscripts, there is no such thing as "the only true bible".
