  • I have to agree. This beer is very tasteless. I recently tried the dark version of this Hefe-weizen and was expecting some great flavor. The flavor was very weak, like light beer. I was very disappointing since I'm a big fan of Spaten Optimator, a great German dark beer

  • She's drunk.

  • You guys are embarrassing waste of education and inherited parents money.

  • ACH DU SCHEISSE ....

Prost !

  • @wax112 The Americans DO have beer culture. Its just a little bit younger. And it is growing like wildfire. Cheers!

  • die haben keine ahnung XD

  • Worst pour in history = bye bye head. Also indicative of someone who's opinion should NOT be taken too seriously. That "Sediment" is the yeast. (FYI hefe = Yeast)

It's a bottle fermented beer. Next time, tilt the glass slightly, pour slowly, and stop with about 1 fingers worth of beer in the bottle. Gently swirl the bottle a few times, and pour the remainder into the glass. It's the most BEAUTIFUL head you've ever had, on one of the most refereshingly NON-Sweet wheat beers available.

  • @mikekopysh Yeah, one of our first wheat beers and I wouldn't pour this way agian. But hey, its always nice to try NEW things.

  • omg, i tasted american beer, and it taste like pisswater, of all the beers i had in my life, german beers always are the best, and i can tell, just by the way you pour the beer in the glas, that you are a bad "beer tester", and "weed-beer" o.O come on, are you really that stupid, you probably cooled it down to much, beer must be about 44.5-45 fahrenheit "cold" (about 7° celsius)

  • Lets get it on in the backround...

  • You have to like or know what a wheat beer is befor you leave a bad review. Erdinger is the best wheat beer Ive had. I suppose your so used to that shit you have in the US. As for your translation, do some research before you embarrass yourself.

  • @sman1971

Erdinger isn't the best wheat beer, there are dozens if not hundreds of better wheat beers in Germany alone.

  • Heavy Weed beer :D "Was hätten sie gerne" - "Ein Weed Bier bitte" Oh mein gott wie geil ist das den? :D

  • Lol, this great beer has no flavor ?

Did u once drink one of those american beers ?

This beer is one of the best in the world. I could drink it every day. And the reason why it had no head was, because u failed.

I guess u should better continue drinking budweiser.

    Peace

  • you are really sympathic! very nice video! greetings from germany!

  • "hefe" has nothing to do with "heavy"

but how do you get german beer in the USA?

  • wheat beer = hefeweizen

    hefe = yeast

  • no one parties with beer they like or else it would take away the point of the party tell this girl to drink nady ice she will like die if she cant even drink that haha

  • I am sorry to report that German beer is not the best, that is just a myth. There is far greater quality and variety in Belgium, the UK, the US and even Canada, Austria and the Netherlands. There are some really good German beers too but it's unlikely that you have even heard of them.

  • @tigerclawfan The moment you mentioned the UK you lost all your credibility. If you knew something about beer you would have mentioned the Czech Republic...

  • @KripkeSaul

Why would I mention the Czech Republic? Their beer scene has even less variety and quality than the German one. Clearly you don't know much!

  • Nice Hat. But she looks like she had already had way too much before the video started...And you tried to pour a beer that was only enough for one cup in two... and you proceeded to do a shitty job at dividing it and put in your cup what was the form the head. What the fuck, had you never poured a beer before or did you simply not have any idea how much 500ml was. You couldn't be seriously expecting to fill both cups with one beer. Go back to drinking miller lite.

  • Hefe means heavy!

  • @marcusflair68 no!hefe = barm

    leaven

    leavening

    yeast

  • these people look like cone heads! The girl is a fuckin retard.

  • @GermanicPrussian and I can tell that you are a very intelligent person.

  • What a waste of 8ins lol!!!! They didn't like it because they poured it WRONG! In the WRONG glass. BTW hefe mean yeast in German. The German people that watched this think Americans are uber stupid smh

  • I hate drinking beer from a glass. The gasses will be gone with in a minute or so. I lov3 cold, bitter gassy beer the best.

  • LLLOOOOLLL, keine gescheiten gläser, mehr als schlecht und ekelhaft eingeschenkt..... . BÄÄHH

    EPIC FAIL

  • You are right about the sediments on the bottom. They are very important for a full developed taste of the beer. And yes, it's yeast ("Hefe" in german). If you miss it, the beer tastes to boring. It makes a complete difference!

You should always leave a small amount of beer in the bottle in the end. Then shake the bottle (like you would with an erlenmeyer flask) with a gentle move coming from your wrists. Top the beer with the foumy yeast/beer mix.

    Prost!

  • Wie die des Bier einschenken ^^

  • @tededfred1990 Die Bewertung haben sie auch verkackt :D

  • man that´s weizen and not pils

and weizen is very mild and pils very flavour

  • This is only one german Weizen. You should try the Paulaner Weizen. It tastes better than the Erdinger.

  • l00000l hefe means heavy :D:D:D it means yeast

  • Erdinger hefe weizen is soooo fucking nice! wtf, you don't have a taste nerve :D:D

  • oh man u did it wrong dats why no crown..... second what the hell this glass supposed to be? weizenglass??? maybe a freak of aweizenglass,,, hefe=heavy hahaha.... ibut ne way we have hundred of beer flavours and beer ways ...... u would find wat u like ,,,, american beer taste like pisswater.....

  • @piero7984 Well maybe the American beers you have had taste like pisswater. But things are changing and now that America is developing and growing into "Craft" beer, there are so many great American beers. And I must say, the best beers in the world. And I'm not saying that because I'm American, but because there are some really really great beers being made now! Cheers, and , BuyzDaBeer!

  • @Imasofat american beer best beer in the world? lmao and for the american taste mcdonalds is propably the best restaurant in the world.. no offense

  • @Hombre261 Whatever. I'm not interested in getting into pissing match.

  • @Hombre261 yea, Mcdonalds rules lol, retards. Also, these people on this video sound like an IQ of zero!

  • @Imasofat give some examples for your great new world order beers i will test and compare

  • @Imasofat I agree there are some good american beer like brown ale, IPA, weizen, imperial pils but overall german beer plays in a whole nother higher league ;)

and american beer isnt the best beer in the world . Thats for sure :P

  • marvin gaye always makes great backround music

  • Maybe you guys should go back to drinking your smirinoff lol

  • alter scheisse wie dumm sind die denn??? boah.. die sollen erstmal english lernen.. dann bring ich den das Bier trinken bei

  • And what age to you become so smart from drinking beer?

  • i really would have thought... that with your age.. would also come some wisdom? apparently not

  • @Imasofat wtf are you talking about?

  • nice milf

  • Mit deutschen Bier machen wir die Amis richtg besoffen und dann werden wir mit der Bundeswehr die USA einnehmen. Das ist die Bier-Blitzkrieg Taktik,-)

  • Part German eh? Not the part with the fucking language ability obviously. Christ.

  • It's normal that there is no heat on the Beer, you pullt it all wrong.Eveb i know that, and i eveb doesnt't drink beer.

  • yes, sometimes it needs time to develop a specific taste...Paulaner, Frankziskaner are other Wheat-beers...they are also available as dark-wheat-beer. Happy drinking! :)

  • u poured it too gently dude...more action when u pour this beer. a nice head will form...the yeast needs to get mixed well together...well now it's too late....

  • The wheat beers are like a whole different animal. One of these days I'll get the hang of it. Thanks for watching from the Mother Land!

  • Hefe = yeast! great review! me living in germany...love how u review our "Yeast-Wheat-Beer" it's a classic....keep them coming the reviews! greetings from germany.

  • Oh mann das gibt es nicht wie geil sind die?? fuck !!! Hillbillies die langeweile haben und internet

  • Hefe not Heffffen!!!

  • lol! you guys are such beer noobs. That's a good one.

  • first you poured it wrong, that's where your head went....i think i might take a bit of a road trip today and get some Franziskaner to show you what i mean (same style beer) the first time i had erdinger i liked it but it was in Kingston where the beer can be stronger.

  • Comment removed

  • I am not a big fan of that style of pour. I think it makes a beer flat. It's been my experience when I was in Germany they never poured a beer like that. They just tilted it like every other beer. Thanks for taking one for the team and I won't buys da beer!!

  • Yea, that's good to know that they don't use that method. As Mrs. Imasofat said, it seems unatural. I won't use that method again, I just had to try it once. Hmmm, I wonder if that affected the taste of the beer? I really don't like my beers flat. Now I may have to try it again. Poor me.

  • It's a grainy wheat beer, I buy it when it's on sale.

  • had some over in germany. A really popular drink over there. i have the really tall glass that is sold in a pack with 2 bottles. I really liked it. Hope u enjoyed it Nice vids man.

  • very good beer. i want to try this pour sometime. good pour.

  • Hefe is yeast.

  • Thanks. I was hoping someone would clear that up for me. Hefe = Yeast!

  • Hey Gary, try Spaten Hefe Weizen, it is outstanding or try Schneider Weizen for a heavier hefe weizen both are worth it. Erdinger is the sissy side of the Hefe Weizen world. Matter of fact, Erdinger is total crap in my opinion. Try Paulener Hefe Weizen, also very good.

  • The sissy side? Thats probably a good way to put it. It was a "sissy" beer because its almost like it was afraid of having a real taste to it.

  • One of my more favored Wheat beers. I think I did a tidbit on this beer with Ryan a while back, and we both really like it. I've actually got an Erdinger glass at home that goes poifectly with the pour. Maybe I'll do a a re-do review of this one in the glass. Never seen that pour so you learn something new everyday eh? Also Gary, how cold did you drink this one at? With Wheat beers you want to drink them a little 'cooler'. Not warm but 'cool'. Mind you I love wheat beers.

  • We drink all of our beers just out of the fridge. And I like wheat beers too, but this one just didn't seem to have enough flavor.

  • Hey guys, you know you guys could always sign up to become a youtube partner. you have unlimited time to make vids. :) I think that's how you do it . o.o

  • Haha, I have the same problem with trying to edit/cut the videos +) I haven't tried Erdinger yet (having heard many people say it isn't that good), but I will review their dunkel-weizen soon.

  • I think you guys actually poured it wrong. You should pour down the center of the glass slowly. Let the head build then just keep topping it off. When you reach about an inch or two left in the bottle, swirl it up inside the bottle then pour it all in.

European hefe's tend to have a banana and clove taste while American Hef's tend to have a citrusy, fruity taste. Try Magic Hat Circus Boy.

  • So you didn't like that one. Great review.

    Chin chin, Tim

  • Chin Chin Charoo.

  • Nice review, dryer running, or happy tail wagging hitting something?

  • We often have happy tails wagging.

  • Great review , best one yet !
