Regardless of what people may say, it really doesn't matter. I guess you were about what, 17-18 when you shot this vid? Heck, my first system was 2 crummy Pyramid 12's on a Thump gold amp that did maybe 250 watts rms even though it claimed like 1200. I was 17. It sounded okay. I was a kid and pretty much broke back then. I've had 9 or 10 different set-ups by now and each one was better than the last. I would never run Lanzar except for the OPTI line which is a diff. animal Good job man!

i've got this same amp and it never overheats and it never clips. All these guys bashing secondhand brands don't really realize that all of a type of amp or sub aren't bad because they are made by a bad company, it all depends on the unit you get. Some Kicker amps blow out in 3 weeks even if they've been taken car of and some amps(lanzar, pyle,second hand brands) last for awhile if they've been treated like shit. it all depends on what individual unit you get and how good it was manufactured.

I'll be honest with you, I've clamped your amp, I know for a fact that this amp only does around 1200 rms. not the 2000 you think. or 4k.... this amp peaks around 2600 watts.

also the subs you are running actually would perform better meaning that the subs will have a more flat response curve, The subs aren't actually designed to play in ported boxes... and thats a wonderful prefab box. i se that you dont know anything about Car-audio. its sad... you can not give to lanzar about 2000Watt its much more than it can. you must take power of your lanzar but onlu RMS it wll play OK if ypur amp give 500watt but not more because higher power makes that sound will be diry. And your bass box with 2lanzars may have only 1000Watt Rms not more.

that amp puts out 900 rms, its a class a/b with 2 35 amp fuses. do the math it works, and in the manual it states that its true rms is 450 a channel at 2 ohms, which means 900 at 4 ohms bridged. i have a alpine type r and my lanzar mxa282 would fry it if the gain wasnt down. ive smelt the coils in the sub more than once.

Hate to break it to you, but new lanzar (at least the cheap ones, are garbage.) Check your fuses, you'll have 2x35a fuses. 2x35a x12v =840 watts rms (1680 by your/lanzars logic) not 4000. I was mad as hell when I bought my amps. Stick with older Vibe (not viberant) or Opti's if you want quality lanzar amplifiers. Sorry to burst your bubble.

PS. DO NOT put 4000W on those subs if you do ever get new amps.

2 channels don't sound distorted, they're actually better for sq but inefficient. mono blocks just have more power to give and class Ds are more efferent. And i got my MTX 5601 for a cool 200$ of sonicelectronix. I recommend, they are cheap. Dont spam flag me tho :( just trying to help out.
