The government has never thought twice about taking innocent civilian lives to save their own ass or some "cure" or "weapon"....watch "Outbreak" with dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman, and you will see it. I know it is just a movie, but all science fiction and fiction does have some basis in fact somewhere.
