Samand, I am Somali the chanting & mashxara it could really be a traditional dance and we just have the sound part and cant see the circle and the dance thats really happening.

Seeing the similarities between the Horn and North Africa I cant help but wonder if there is not a connection going way back. North of The Sahara and the Horn seem to be connected when it comes to language and customs too.
