We know how EPO can change an average rider to a TDF winner as showed us Riis.

Even Lance said in 1995 that it was not possible to improve significantly his performance. To gain 1% for an elite athlete is huge and takes time, so how can you explain us the 20% of increase of Lance on passes after a cancer and 2 years without serious competition?

Doping makes training and race easier. A good doping program like those elaborated by Dr. Ferrari gives a n increase by 10-15% of max power and an increase of 50-70% of time exhaustion. For cyclist, that means that a national level doped rider could challenge top world clean athletes. That explain why Lemond or Hinault would have been just ranked in 60th if they had been racing during Lance TDF !

Lance has finally retired from pro bike racing. And now he is trying to raise even more money for cancer research. My wife died much too young from a rare, incurable cancer. She fought to the very end. After she died, I was devastated to find out that I had prostate cancer. I wish I could say I am as good at fighting this, as my wife was and as Lance has been for years. I cannot exercise as much as I want, but I won't give up.

When I hear people who got to know about cycling through LA saying things like: "Lance is the best cyclist ever", I just wonder what is going through their heads.

Whether or not LA has doped or not, the fact is that most pros spend up to 30,000km on their bikes per year. But this does not excuse cheating and sporting fraud of course. What I would like to see happen is to see soccer (football) players submitted to the same surpise tests by the vampires of the UCI and also the same quantiy: 50/hr

I heard that if you don't let it heal correctly, the next you break your clavicle may result in sometime much serious, your clavicle might end up puncturing your lungs.

I don't know about it picturing your lung but if you break you clavicle once, it's more vulnerable you breaking it again. I knew a football player why broke his clavicle 4 times.. But the clavicle can heal it's self. You don't need to pop it back into place for it to heal correctly (Unlike a Broken Arm). It's one of the natural healing bones in your body.

I heard if you undergo surgery on the clavicle, it can heal faster. But not too sure about that.
