No, our (Huntsville, AL's) modulator was replaced with a model 2. The modulator was in Big Spring Park, but now a Model 2 is there. I have a siren tour (walkaround) of the new model 2.
But if that part of town needed siren coverage, why did they waste their time putting up the 2001 there and moving the 3t22 when they could have just put the 2001 on the side of town that needed a siren?

It sucks to see such a good siren being replaced by such a great siren. The xt22 series were great sirens along with the thunderbolt series. The 2001's are when fs went wrong. I hate 2001's. But ATI's are the worst.
Well, we all have to face the facts... The Federal Signal 2001 siren has a better coverage then the Federal Signal 3T22. Plus, it's twice as reliable in a emergency and power outage. But I to hate to see it get replaced with a 2001.

UPDATE: It has come to my attention that the 3T22 has been relocated to the west side of Richland Center to improve siren coverage.
It was NOT replaced or scraped.
The 3T22 still lives on!!
