  • did you record this with a potato?

  • @gamerfreek2 nah i think it was a microwave

  • This is how longboard related accidents happen.

  • REPEATEDLY CLICK 1:58 FOR YOUR PET SHEEP.

  • do you think i should get an original pintail or a loaded dervish?

  • @5ama5lamajama The pintail is a better cruising board. it's also cheaper. The Dervish is a more freeride-oriented board. the board you want depends more on the kind of riding you do.

  • @crazjtk yeah i sorta like to cruise to places but then i really like to go downhill so 50 50 cant decide

  • @5ama5lamajama At that point, I'd go for the Dervish, or else a similar, dervish style board. The drop-through design makes them easy to push and stable at higher speeds, which makes for a good mix between the two disciplines.

  • @crazjtk sick thanks bro

  • @5ama5lamajama Check out the Never Summer Heist. Just as flexy, but a little wider.

  • @5ama5lamajama yeah like that guy said a dervish type board. dont get a dervish though its too expensive for what it is. i would get a arbor axis(comes in 3 different top sheets of wood, bamboo koa and just black grip tape). i had the bamboo and it was perfect for cruising and medium dh.

  • yep, i will not be buying anything from this place

  • @iamthehousecat yeah you shouldnt they are bunch of crooks and many can testify to that,

  • You guys are idiot the title is who can build a dervish the fastest meaning this was a joke.... this isnt how their boards werent actually made

  • wow that dervish has such a weird pattern

  • all they did was put the trucks on!!!!!

  • @LeakproofPanic oh I didn't know that but that would make the dervish higher off the ground and many people won't like the hight.

  • @oopsman142 no u can't cause the dervish Is a drop through board and the original truck is made for non drop through boards.

  • @ReLoadedDervish you can still mount trucks on the dervish like it was topmount, just because it drops doesnt mean you have to drop the trucks through. so, if you mounted the original trucks on the bottom of the dervish, it would be ok.

  • @LeakproofPanic If you want to topmount a dervish, just get a vanguard. the nose and tail will break easier on the dervish if you do

  • i have my paris trucks loose as they can get and they dont have wheelbite do i need softer bushings?

  • can u put original trucks on a dervish??????????

  • What about with the vanguard? Im 5'9 145lbs and im still growing. What flex would be best? Please respond!

  • @Mattmeo11 Flex 1, Dervish is super flexy. it recommends flex 1 for 150+ and flex 2 gets to be like a trampoline if your to heavy.

  • i'm never ordering a board from them, regardless of prices.

if they take their JOB this "seriously"

I feel bad for whoever got these boards..

you guys need to leave the jokes for after work.

  • 3:29 why the hell is that guy so fucking nervous?

  • Do retro zig zags cone/wear easily?

  • I hope our Dervishs' weren't built that fast... O_O

  • big zigs are not the best wheels on the market

  • @TylerSaysTV

    I guess it's just preference.

  • dude my name is Eric too

  • @feebleolinus dude my name is kyle too

  • @BullzEye14 same here!

dont belive me? look lat my youtube name

  • I'd certainly redo it after they finished.

Better to have it done right than fast.

I say have this challenge again and let both of them use thesame tools. (I suggest a basic skate tool) congrats to the winner.

  • lesson: never buy in this page...

  • mabey you should worry about how you do it and properly doing it other than worrying about how fast you can do it.

  • i can assemble it in 50seconds each truck

  • I remember the first time i put my longboard together....

  • 2:43 hahahha why the hell is he so shaky?

  • i hope people wake up and stop buying dervishes at some point, this board is built in a way that causes the new feel to dissipate at an excessively high rate. please world.. buy higher quality boards. (if you do, you will probably save money. sad but true.)

  • Wow, Id have second thoughts ordering from this crowd!

  • Randel Trucks with O-tangs In Heat Mmmmm

  • do anyone knows if randal is good trucks, and whats best between paris and randal ?

  • @MaiNeim2 depends what your into. randals are carvey, for a few rides. then they die and go stiff. leaving you to dh only. paris is a very carvey, high quality truck. that doesnt die down.

  • @MaiNeim2 radalls are amazing great carving for down hill and just cruising, paris are ok carving more for bombing hills hope i helped

  • o-tangs are best

  • i wouldnt have that dweeb ever set up a board for me. And big zigs arent the best wheels on the market. It all depend on what you're doing dude.

  • @JmChadillonProduct aint nothing wrong with otangs

  • @1Pantikian i never said anything about otangs... unless you think big zigs made by otang... i facepalm.

  • @JmChadillonProduct nah man, i read your comment wrong. thought you said big zigs are the best instead of aren't, at which i wanted to mention the otangs and their goodness

  • @1Pantikian ah s'all good. I agree with you o tang is good. personally right now im sliding 70's flashbacks and gripping gumballs. love the thane marks.

  • The long hair fag had an all nighter playing world of warcraft before making this video

  • LOL AT THE END, everyones looking for things they dropped.

  • hey if any one can help me i have a question. what are the things that pop out of the top of the board or are they apart of the trucks. If they are apart of the trucks do all trucks have them?

  • @Drewlovesvids its just the truck

  • Facepalm

  • @Drewlovesvids those are just the baseplates that pop out of the top of the board, and yes obviously all trucks have them

  • @Drewlovesvids they are the trucks, and no not all trucks do that, all carving trucks are like this mostly

  • flex 1 <3 140lbs

  • whoever got that dervish must be disapointed!

  • the kyle guy is stupid and sloppy

  • great vid props to the old timer

  • what size trucks are those??

  • My setup, how do you like it? Comment!

    -Dervish flex 2

    -Paris all silver 180mm trucks

    -Bones Swiss Ceramics bearings

    -Bearing spacers

    -Orange 75mm Orangatang In-Heats wheels

  • @Felixhackz nice setup

  • @Felixhackz nice, im getting same except im getting all black paris 180 and otangs inheats purps

  • @Felixhackz pretty nice setup some things i recommend what to change is get venom bushings and ids oust abec 9 bearings about 60ish dollars and just as same performance if not better than the 100$+ bones you have

  • are big zigs good for sliding?

  • i want to make a medium flex board i am 200 pounds how many sheets of birch and how many plys should the birch be

  • get a haircut how can u see where your walking let alone skating

  • bear trucks on a dervish

  • @jjjabberjaws Good or bad?

  • @jjjabberjaws is it a good thing to have bear trucks on a dervish?

  • @jjjabberjaws eeewwww

  • i weight 110lbs and i want to buy a loaded dervish but i don't know which flex... flex1 or flex2? i ride downhill and freestyle and i like carving pretty much

  • flex one cause it is more stable and takes abuse better

  • thanks for help

  • why 2?

  • if you like carving id go with 2. but if you also like do tricks and bombing hills as well, go with 1

  • Flex 1. For downhill the stiffer the better. Flex 1 stil is quite flexy.

  • @Longboardfan def flex 2

  • Their not really building anything poorly, they're just going fast. I hammer my bolts in too just because the dervish drill holes are a pain.

  • Kind of annoying that people who build the completes for you sort of do it poorly like 3:48

  • Comment removed

  • ROCKY quotes nice one.

    retro big-zigs

    the dervish, yeah

    my set-up but flex 2

    mmmmmmhmm hmmmm

    tasty

  • how does someone who works at a boardshop have so much trouble putting that together...with an electrical tool...

  • what wood did u makethe deck out of?

  • bamboo

  • I got A vanguard from that store yesterday!

    (Flex 2)

  • I was just at that shop yesterday!

I got A Vanguard from that shop!!

  • orangatangs are he best wheels in the market.

  • no it depends wat u want

  • you can find riders in all catagories using otangs, Downhillers, slolum, free riders, sliders, no other wheel has that kind of capeibility.

  • bigzigs because there more selection of a

  • see, i don;t think so, they don't have the grip when you need it and the slip when you want it. I started with otangs and they were perfect. when i changed to bigzigs, my ride was not the same, plain and simple, their are more options with otangs

  • Comment removed

  • i disagree

  • everyone is titled to their opinions.

  • which otangs did you use?

  • in heats. they were so amazing... untill they broke ;-( should be gettin new ones in da mail soon

  • how did they break?

  • the spacers that were built in shreded. but yeah, they were faulty wheels.

  • well that stinks

  • @TheAguAnno do you really think thats true? are you retarded?

  • @rollinbarrin no shit because there was a recall for that same reason and the stimules' i have now don have that problem.

    so yes, that is true.

  • @TheAguAnno have you ever heard of abec11? sector9? venom? ladera? zombies? stop sucking orangatangs dick and open your eyes

  • orangatang in heats are soo great for carving in a city.. for sliding they work very good too.. i luv my dervish (L)

  • wow that kid was hella twitchy

  • kyle is a definite stoner haha

  • my names kyle too

  • i like to slide but have descent grip what wheels should i get

  • orangatang durians

  • Durian, more slide = 86a (yellow) less slide = 83a (purple)

Hope this helps, either way, awesome wheels

  • id recommend some orangatang 83a's durains

  • the new kid is a dbag!!!!!!!

  • i hope that wasnt a customers board cause u guys rushed that haha

  • bears on a derv first time i saw that. crazy!

  • i weigh 180 lbs and i would be mainly carving pumping no bombing hills

also should i get bearing spacers,if so what ones..?

  • yes and there all the same lol

  • i rode my friends flex 1 and im 155.....it was right out of the box too so not broken in and it was realy flexible for me...get the flex1

  • apex 37

  • im ordering a loaded dervish and this is my setup so far

    flex : flex 1

    trucks : randal 180mm truck,50 degree raw

    wheels : orangatang in heat,orange.75mm/80a

    bearings : bones red bearings

the problem is i don't know what front and rear bushings to get..??

  • I'm getting something like this.

    flex 2

    Turcks: Randal RII 180mm Trucks

    Wheels :ABEC 11 76mm Gumballs 78A (limes)

    Bearings: Amphetamine Silver Ceramix Bearings

I'm trying to figure if you're getting flex 1, You would want to get thicker and a bit bigger bushings, you can see in one of these videos on this channel, the guy explains about the bushings you should get.

Find a place online where to get some after, something you would reconize beeing bigger than the original bushing and there you go.

  • Khyros,

I got all that but instead I got flex 2, ITS AWESOME!

  • motion board shop has a good tut on venoms u should check it out

  • get some venoms, grab a few and try them out i'm pretty sure some of the paris's come standard with venoms

  • damn these guys got a good job haha

  • at first when i looked at the title i thaught u meant that you were making a faster speedwise setup

  • Comment removed

  • im glad thats not my dervish they put together lol

  • same how much u wanna bet the have to do that over agen cuz they messed up

  • o for sure dude. my second ones comin tomo. so excited.

  • thats so awesome

wish i could have a job like that.

  • for a drop in set up, theyare just regular trucks right?

  • yes but you have to take them apart to set it up drop thru

  • yeh, you just gotta take the kingpin off. and I would recomment some paris 180's to go with the dervish.

  • whats better for learning to slide, purple or orange tangs. comment back on my page. thanks

  • depends on the terrain im running otang durian's

  • rock sucks dick

  • lmao i think kyle had some crazy tea that makes them shake

  • got them on a dervish and it really depends on the bushings...

the original bushings are pretty good dh.. but for carving etc i use a mix of a red and a yellow venom bushing.. however they r pretty solid=)

    nice but costly

  • Gotta love brand new wheels. Shiny

  • Has anyone ridden a dervish with those bear trucks on it? I have them on an evo and am pretty happy with them as a DH truck.

  • I think the long hair kid had too much coffee. His hands are shaking...

  • aids?

  • haha! Ramones in the background!

  • im roughly 180lb, what flex rating should i get?

  • Flex 1. When it starts to break in a little more you will be happy. It will also last longer!

  • whats the best trucks for this kind of board

  • The Paris 180s

  • or randal II 180's

  • depends on what ure gonna do with it

  • retro bigzigs are KILLA nice smooth ride, lots of grip! i highly recommend them if you liked the zigzags

  • i like sick sicks personally, but i have never tried retros, any good?

  • idk,

how do you feel about oranatang in heats(orange) of course.

  • otang in heats for sure, love them

  • the purple ones are good too...

  • what type of risers should i use for a dropthrough board

  • i don't know what they are called, but the soft ones. you'll know when you see them.

  • I WANT IT

  • is this board good for hill bombing? or it just works well for carving..

  • both.

  • hahaahahaa not for bombing dude

  • Are those bears any good for carving?

  • Bears are great for carving AND bombing. Beautiful trucks, but be wary, the axles tend to snap...especially the 8 mils.

  • do you need any special features on the trucks or can you just order like randal 11's 180mm and put them on

  • that is the same set up as mine exzact dude

  • hahaha some kids gona go home all excited about his new dervish and as soon as he hops on it its all gona fall apart lol

  • who paints it im making one. But i want a sick paint job

  • They all come with the same graphic on the bottom.

  • there is a you dumbass. obviously you dont know what your talking about the second gen has a longer base cut to relieve pressure because the first gens would crack. you dont even know about the board your riding

  • There is an old dervish. Stop being ignorant. The newer dervs have a bit different cutouts which can accommodate more trucks, and prevent the cracking issue...the one in the video is the old one.

  • thats the old dervish
