@Gornox82 Assuming the beer is roughly speaking 5% alcohol, we have 95% water to ruin the experiment. Ussually the concentration should be the other way around. It'll probably still polymerize, but in the end I assume it's just going to be a gooey mass or worse.

@edwinwidjaja007 The concentration wasn't given on the label, so the closest I can say is that it had a syrupy-like consistancy. Then again, I don't think the concentration is THAT crucial, so if you can live with a little unprecision it'll probably work just fine.

@Jackson9797 If you look for sodium silicate Na2SiO3·nH2O ( n = 5, 6, 8, 9) you can find it. It is used for repairs usually by pouring it into a hole, heating the water out causing it to block the hole with a glass like substance.
