  • thumbs up.

  • Exactly! You said it exactly! We need a whole different way of life! Get rid of big business corporations who hold so much influence over the sheeple.......I mean people... would be a start!

  • you pegged the two most important factors.

stopping the harm, and learning a new way of living.

    spot on brother.

  • did i miss this?

i think this is worth another look. :)

    dig the lyrics.

  • right on my brother

  • you don't have to worry about this to much, it seems when society gets greaty enough, something always happens, when the national banks dropped after the United States was first started or the Stock Market dropping that led to the great depression, as bad as society is, something always hits to close to home to drive people back & with this go green change that everyone is talking about durring out current financial crisis, a change is right around the corner

  • this is great, filthy

    it lays it all out

    you really speak my heart

and i am very grateful for that

  • :o)

  • yes, please show me how it's done mrgordylks...and I thought the term was pretty simple...non-human...everything/everyone around us that isn't a human being.

  • I feel you Filthy.

  • I know YOU do. respect!

  • i think the only real long term changes we can aspire to make in this messed up system is changing things locally, around us. easy solutions to begin with: eat local organic foods or grow your own or eat wild foods, communicate with your natural surroundings, create a community of trustworthy friends and family, help needy people and donate a few hours of your time, share the knowledge and skills that you know. we can't change the world by ourselves, we need to connect and unite!

  • well said

  • the whackest MCs are the ones who don't rap at all.

  • Major knowledge Dropped here Bro. gonna have to listen to this a few more times.

  • i would like to push forth a new and greater sense of harmony.

harmony in terms of the Earth and among all of the life around us.

do we not hear harmonious cries around us?

    let us weave that HARMONY!

  • I love all of you, there are so many of you who are awake! This gives me hope...I'm so happy! I love!

  • when you break it all down to the core...it's all about harmony and balance

  • you said it. "the most important thing is that it cant be am ovement that is defined by universal rules."

its about producing more and consuming less, imho.

    GREAT VIDEO.

  • free state.

  • its simple trade your talent for another persons.

people have started it in u.k and it seems to work and bring them together it just needs to be done on a bigger scale. that way you can do the job you know your happy doing and are good at.

    Bless!

  • yeah, that's a great suggestion...people really need to find ways to get around this bullshit money system. That can be a huge change in the way people think and live, since this whole system is based on money. respect!

  • I really like this idea as well, although it could be cumbersome trading to get what you want, trading what you can give for what you need is a great idea.

  • sweeet. oz. ty. :)

  • Great video brother.

  • so here are some solutions, FREE ACTIVE EDUCATION. Communication of knowledge wouldn't hurt. How about working on regulations for what is dumped in our water. We the people are suppose to be able to have a say in what we consume in our everyday water! How about solar pannels and working on selling energy to the government? these are small things but together can accomplish something huge. Like any foundation or just life, you must start small to get bigger to make a diffrence.

  • great thoughts...we definitely need people working on things like this. I really like the free active education thing. I've been talking to a friend of mine about starting up something like that in our community. Once we get it rolling, I'll post vids about it.

  • good uns!

  • enough on that, what's going on in my community is we have a couple farmers markets and there are (not enough)but few supporters. The only thing I don't agree with is the fact that it's all based on money and rich people. corporations selling the "organic" products to the upper class...seems a bit snobby. To sell knowledge of fixing what we messed up in the first place is so selfish. All anyone cares about these days is money, and our society has built it around such...we live in a DUR society.

  • oh man, this is so true, i try to buy organic fruit and veggies, but can't afford to buy all organic. Buying in bulk definitely helps and farmers markets rock, used to live right by one and I loved going to it. I like the idea of a free store like socks posted below me, people throw away the best stuff.

  • I just started eating organic fruits & veggies. I found a company that, from what I can tell, isnt only after money. They seem to be really excited about working towards sustainable ways of growing healthy food that's naturally grown the way it should be grown...in symbiosis with the natural environment. They also work to protect the environment through restoration projects, conserving natural resources & creating wildlife habitats. Much better than supporting the local corporate grocery store.

  • Nice vid, Filthy. Our community is building, building, building, I am not sure how to address that, and since our community is so based on technology(google, m$, etc) it has been pretty stable, but might not be in the future depending on how things shift. To their credit, they really do care about the green spaces and have an awesome recyclng program, I try to help in as much the plantings as I can and starting to look at the wilderness schools to spread awareness and of course, back home...

  • ... building my garden and learning to live more simply. I don't know much about politics or how to participate there, most of my debate is done with my art and I am working on finding sustainable methods to do that- both with computer and with better materials- recycled cardboard dvd's, recycled paper, not selling a lot of junk, etc. I made a vid somewhat to do with this topic though does not address my community specifically. If it doesn't fit, thats ok.

  • Sounds like you're doing a lot of really great stuff Oz. I feel you...that building, building, building gets frustrating. I bet that all of that planting, planting, planting helps to ease some of that frustration. :o)

  • i think individual efforts within community, how each of us happens to spend her money, her day, her time & resources etc,(or him spending his) is really a piece of the puzzle. it does help. for example,i don't think artists are disposable. art's not frivolous. i couldn't live in a community without artists,it would be too depressing.bare facts and statistics may tell the same story & miss the point entirely. art gets to the heat and heart of the matter, the passions struggle, it wakes us up!

  • word...in addition it's also very important how each of us doesn't spend his money, his day, his time & resources, etc (or her not spending hers). :o)

  • conversely, quite so!

DON'T JUST DO SOMETHING, STAND THERE!- read a poster on the door of the biology classroom in my high school. there was a bumper sticker just below that poster, that read STOP, LOOK, & LISTEN.

ya know? who even does that anymore? who has time in the midst of a hectic schedule? i do believe in unscheduling huge parts of your life. in great draughts of rest, of time to simply be, but that's me. i know a lot of people who are very uncomfortable with the idea of down time!

  • Communication, sustainability and moderation. We should have this down by now....how long have we been on this earth? obviously there was no communication as to what happend in the past because as you all know; the winners write history...and the rest is burned. So, hows that for civilization and helping man kind?

  • I think we did have it down...until we forgot...and worse, we forgot that we forgot anything at all and that there was anything to forget. We need a mass remembering...and though we have closed most of the doors to the past and to reality, there is one door that can't be closed, and more people are finding that door. The wisdom is inside of us, waiting to be found...waiting for us to remember who we are.

  • you rock.

    drilling would be devastating.

y'all oughtta hunt yer governor, from a plane. maybe then she would realize how evil it really is.

i guess that's not really a helpful solution, now, is it?

  • Well.

    At least it'd be fun.

    It'll raise the warrior-spirit.

  • might be a better idea to just dab her with some scent, drop her off in the woods, and let the karma run its course.

  • sounds fair to me :o)

  • less do dis.

  • our community has a free bus system, a free store where people can drop off and/or get all sorts of items without cost- clothing, books, household goods, tools, toys, etc all turn up at the free store. better than winding up in the landfill, eh! effective recycling. there's also a food pantry and a free lunch served every day but wednesday. all good but flawed solutions that work for us but could be better. thanks for inspiring another video project, my dear Its, thinking now how to approach it

  • wow...sounds like you live in a pretty great community. yeah, the sollutions we come up with inside of the system can always be better, because they usually treat the symptoms rather than the root cause...I think that's where remembering how to communicate with the community around us comes in. I think that once we get that mastered, the solutions we find will be very effective. looking forward to that vid. :o)

  • right.

    i'm overly opinionated.

i been tryin to say "we need 6 billion voices making suggestions" but its difficult when so many people refuse to admit the problem goes beyond government.

  • ...which is still something that worries me.

  • It still worries you an hour later? :op Yeah, I feel you...people never take it back to the root. But, whenever I get frustrated and feel like people are never going to get it, something that I least expect will pop out of the mouth of someone I least expect to say it, and I realize all over again that we are in the midst of an awakening. It's slower than we'd all hope, of course...but it's happening...eventually we'll hit that tipping point, and I have to believe that it won't be too late.
