  • Doesn't anyone think it strange that a relatively normal planet becomes a hugely important strategic asset for anyone like it's amongst the most important in the imperium.

  • hii..in wikipedia apears this:"When defeated, all Necrons (including The Necron Lord) just "shut down", having no Power left to keep them running. When defeated by the Blood Ravens, all of the Necrons are gathered up and destroyed thoroughly to prevent them from reawakening." that means necrons won´t apear in new games of DoW anymore..??

  • @marlonalejo They will be back. Hundereds of thousands of Tomb Worlds are scattered accross the galaxcy, and a destruction is hardly a major concern for the Necrons. Every world they purge can be made into a new Tomb World, so the threat is self perpetuating. And since the rise of Imotekh the Storm Lord, the necrons are an even greater threat to the galaxy than before. So in short, expect them as a villian once again.

  • @Hemdael hiii....merry xmas...thanks for yor comment..very cool..i like necrons..a lot..yesterday i finished DC game one more time w/ necrons..next i`ll play ST...i hope as you said, they will be back soon..first as villian, but then as a playabe race in DoW II in a future expansion..they could be defeated at kronus, but there will be always a necron lord, just like in soulstorm, and, after him, there will be another necron lord to guide the necrons..am i right.? greetings from Colombia.

  • @Hemdael yah, stormlord is the only dude in the new fluff which actually remains necron-ish and scary and looks cool.

quote:''In battle, Imotekh is known to use terror as a weapon against his foes, recognizing its effectiveness against the lesser races''.oh yeah thats a true necron lord

  • The Necrons retcon isn't so much a retcon as erasing them altogether and cooking up a space version of Tomb Kings. The Necrons suck in their new forms. They may not have had much in the way of personalities before, but then again that's what made them effective as villains - they genuinely felt alien and menacing like the Tyranids. And the C'tan for once provided a genuine threat to the Chaos Gods - no more.

I really hope GW doesn't decide to fuck the Tyranids up in the same way.

  • If only space marines imperial guard tau elder and space marines worked together

  • too bad the exterminatus comes along and kills everything

  • then came the exturminatus.....

  • "You dangerous mute lunaticS"

  • Necrons make Chaos guys look nice

  • with such high oblisk the range must be the whole map

  • 0:07 the necron warrior is like "Hell Yeah Mothefuckerrsss"

  • "Stealing the profits earned by the campaign expansion, the Nightbringer used his new found wealth to manipulate GW into firing Matt Ward in order to prevent him from writing the new Necron Codex. Seeing this action caused the Chaos Gods to willingly let the Necrons serve as the new villains, in gratitude for saving them from Matt Ward's horrible writing."

  • @dragonstormx

    this

  • @dragonstormx unfortunately mat ward foresaw the nightbringer's plan and killed him off along with the C'tan in the new necron codex ... DAMN YOU MAT WARD!

  • @luisandres95 It's pathetic what he has made them into....

  • @TheMostSlyFox Tzeentch wins again...

  • @dragonstormx Cant... stop... LAUGHING xDDD

  • 0:07

    Necron: DIE BUG!!!!

  • bleep bloop

  • huh from playing the table stop ive learned 1 thing, marneus calgar chapter master of the ultramarines has no issue blowing a planet apart using exterminatus especially against necrons

  • I think that is what I'd call overkill.

  • um thq got it wrong necrons only take one world out of a galaxy and leave the rest if you play the hobby for a wile you find this out by reading there book

  • @KopritheStormtrooper

I preffer evil races in W40K. I fidn marines boring and the ig jsut plain stupid, even in the game. Without hteri vehicles, they are pretty much busted.

My favorite races though are Chaos ,Dark Eldar and Necrons-Tyranids.

As for being at the mercy of gods, even necrons are at the mercy of theri gods, and only the necron lords are partially sentinent. So all in all, they are half imperial guard half tyranid.

    Oh and yes,I hate orks.

  • Necrons are cool but they have scoliosis i love SM

  • @KopritheStormtrooper no i have downloaded 10 games alredy althou only 5 of them have cracks the other 5 didnt have a crack file and kept asking for a stupid disk

  • @KopritheStormtrooper That's what you think.

  • @KopritheStormtrooper so by folowing these steps i will forever be able to play any pc games i wanna play??!?!??!?!

  • @HanDynasty26349 Enjoy your Trojans bro

  • These guys could have killed the ultramarines, and we didn't let them? Damn you, Blood Ravens. Damn you.

  • @KopritheStormtrooper i cant find any linked comments cant u just pm the link to me?

  • @KopritheStormtrooper i dont see any

  • @KopritheStormtrooper can u plz send me the link to? plz

  • @KopritheStormtrooper if i ever get dark crusade or soulstorm i sure will :D

  • @KopritheStormtrooper i just like that their strong units in game i dont care for the crazy religious zeal though

  • @KopritheStormtrooper i dont have an army for the table top game, but i guess i play Space Marines usually

  • @KopritheStormtrooper i know, i was getting replies from this video and another one for the Necron ending for Soulstorm, so i got the two mixed up

  • @blackcell007 they'd keep each other occupied for, oh i don't know a good few millennium or so

  • @GearShotgun considering how the necrons are the bane of all life, they're win over nids(because they are metal, they cant be used to feed the hive, meaning their is no way the nids can benefit from fighting them).

  • @BaldurandVali true but wouldn't the necrons eventually run out of troops 2?

  • @GearShotgun no, living metal=regeneration. They're guys would just keep getting back up.

  • @BaldurandVali oh so the necrons dont need to make new ones, i was wondering about that.

  • @GearShotgun yeah pretty much. Also why their minds are all dulled. From being destroyed and rebuilt hundreds of times.

  • @GearShotgun yeah :D

  • at 1:01 , Nightbringer : Well, I'm Done here. Janitor!

  • well on the bright side, no more bacteria, germ-o-phobes everywhere can rejoice

  • @GearShotgun There's a certain unsettling feeling to absolutely sterile environments, you can FEEL the lack of life in the air.

  • R'botic skele'un zawmbies. Lemme tell ya, it don't get bettah den dis!

  • 0:06 WTF?!?!

  • if necrons clean whole living microbes how the hemoglobine (blood) was still near corpses or necrons??!??!

  • @SqiudPL Well, blood isn't a microbe, and it's also a pain in the arse to scrub off.

  • NECRONS SHOUD BE IN DAWN OF WAR 2 !

  • Necrons are my favorite WH40K race. There like a cross between Terminators,Borg, and Zombies.

  • although the necrons winnig dosnet look as cool as the win for the chaos, the necrons are far more evil, they destroy al life even microscopit life, the chaos just spawns demons

  • @midgerm aaahh its much better :)

  • Necrons remind me of terminators sort of

  • LONG DEATH FOR THE NECRONS

  • @ghosterkim Dude they're already dead

  • wat a fail they kill all vegies

  • The night bringers kool, but the great trickster is even tighter.

  • i wonder if the chaos god khorne saw the necrons on kronus and said:

"holy crap, i've got alot of catching up to do."

  • Necrons kill all Humans,Eldars and Tau empire.Orks got away

  • @Kralitor anyone ever COMPLETELY eradicate all the orks on a world?

  • Reffering to Necrons and tyranids. It would take them millions of years to kill all the tyranids because the nids reproduce at a very quick rate. With the ever expanding universe the nids will have new planets and so it will be a never ending battle. One side will always be back and the other has infinite troops

  • When I first saw the Grim Reaper unit (forget the name :P) I was like HOLY SHIT!!

  • "Each heroic effort, only added more deaths to the Nightbringer's tally." And the horrific god of death surely savors them all.

  • this is bad ending...

  • Tau Empire's da' BEST!

  • @Assaulterify well your language is an orky language

  • @0:58, Necrons take Ultramar? Not likely

  • I love how the speaker dude is so passionate when reading his lines.

  • @Raikkiku He has to be...there is a bolt pistol pointed at him.

  • Yay Necrons ^_^

  • @ShutteredDreams Yay another Necron fan! ^_^

  • Captain Thule: For the Emperor! Fight to the Death!

    Thomas Macabee: Shaddup living!

  • I hate the new narrators voice...

  • Hmm somehow I dont think Necrons and Tyranids get on well

  • @8BEHEMOTH8 They feed their gods the souls of those they kill.

  • The Emperor God IS Chuck Norris! XD

  • @13Cadavre13 OMG Chuck Norris XD

  • ill finish all of the strugglers

    and get this ending :)

  • One thing... CHAOTIC NECRON! Chaos god and necron god become ally and just FUSE their soldier together, lol wouldn't that be awesome? chaos armor with glowing green eyes and CAN'T DIE. IS THE PERFECT WTF ALLIANCE!!

  • Well I say necron is the most powerful race ever.... no seriously hear this, their weapon is high tech, there number grow with every individual they kill, and when destroy it will just restore himself, not to mention their god... but in the end the one that always win will be space marine.....

  • @UnDeAdTaKsU The imperium will rape the space marines if they wanted to. They out number the space marines at least 500k Imperial guard to 1 space marine.

What's best. With the Golden throne failing now, once the false emperor die for good. All will fall under CHAOS. Chaos cannot be denied.

  • @EmaEiishi true but what i mean by space marine always win is relic really like space marine and so in the warhammer universe they seem to always win... which is kinda sad for other race fans :(

  • @UnDeAdTaKsU Plot amour is invincible.

  • how are those little bug things cold,i forgot =D

    please tell my

  • johncenafan83

    They are called Scarabs

    Ave Nightbringer!

  • imho, the only "force" that could potentially end the necrons threat are the Space Marines, or the Tyranid, the empire of man is so vast and powerful, that it would take a "huge" campaign to even have a chance of assailing it.

However, the tyranid are the only species, beside the necrons themselves, that have no fear, have limitless numbers with which to overwhelm. the necrons seek to kill the living because they detest life, but the tyranid seek to destroy and terraform "everything" for sport?

  • That's true for the Tyranids... Actually it's true even in normal battles! I'm playing with Necron army and I can say that tyranids are a god damn pain...

  • The Tyranids always seek to terraform everything so that they can absorb a planet's bio-force. Hence the term The Great Devourer.

  • But in the codex there are recorded places when a hive fleet altered it's corse to avoid a tomb world

  • @steve5621

When the necrons and the C'tan awake it would take them one day to destroy the Imperium.

  • @steve5621 Nope, tyranids wouldn't bother attacking the necrons to begin with as they can't be eaten. Something with no bio force wouldn't attract the tyranids to begin with. Genestealers that land on a tomb world will just curse it's luck being ripped by scarabs and it's skin worn by the flayed ones.

  • @steve5621 Though Tyranids have very little reason to ever attack a tomb world. There's simply no biomass to consume. Necrons, however, will take offense to Tyranids in their yard and will purge them at every opportunity. And since Necrons are nigh indestructible and will always reconstruct themselves, the Tyranids will end up fighting an attrition battle that is in the Necrons' favor. The Necrons doesn't take any loses, while the Tyranids will eventually run out of Biomass.

  • @Punishthefalse

So the tyranids can't just recycle the biomass like the normally do because the Necron's weapons rip them apart their molecular structure?

  • @dragonstormx That's another reason. Gauss weaponry attacks matter right down at the molecular structure. Unless Tyranids love eating base elements, which were already harvested by the Necrons, they are going to starve eventually.

  • @Punishthefalse

So the Necrons even take the resources from the ground, leaving absolutely nothing for the Tyranids.

  • @dragonstormx Yes, tis why Tyranids attempt avoid Necrons at all costs

  • they are like ancient egyptians ,that's the cool part about them .they combine between they're religion and they're technologie

  • Necrons win. How do they celebrate? They kill all vegetation. Why stop there? Lets kill the microbes too!

  • @Talbron at 0:27 the guy says the necrons made pillars to kill everithing including 'Microscopic bacteria'

  • @Talbron and then... oops power gone. the space marines unplugged their telephone wires.

  • @Talbron Idk. That sounds like a typical frat boy party to me. :P

  • Necrons remind me of the Ancient Egyptians

  • @arr5612

Like the Tomb Kings of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Only that the Necrons are nameless (mostly) machines.

  • @arr5612 lol i think they are based on them lol

  • @arr5612 well htey`re supposed to be tomb kings aren`t they?

  • @arr5612 they were based on egyptians + terminators

  • @arr5612 ancient egyptians , terminators, zombies what more can u ask for :))?

  • @arr5612 developers were inspired by them.

  • lol necrons are the easiest to use. they have very good attack also defend.. they only use power, no strategic point needed. the disadvantage is just that they move so slow. their weaknesses are infiltrate unit and vehicle, maybe?

  • weak against 'ravens though

  • yeah the are week against infiltrate units but the necron lord can reveal some by the solar pulse

  • The essence of the nightbringer is so incredibly powerful in-game. I'm waiting for someone to make a mod that puts THE NIGHTBRINGER into it.

Because, If he really wanted them to succeed, he'd help out. Like the Gods of Chaos send in Greater avatars of themselves only because they can't quite reach into the mortal realm. Damn warp barriers.

  • Necrons #1...

  • Tau rulezzzz!

  • the tau rule for the greater good

  • not really.

  • If by "better" you mean "better at dying", then you'd be right. Necrons are immensely superior to Space Marines.

  • @PalookaLord

Necron are more cost effective, it takes years to make a space marine and only 1 in 100 survives. Necron don't die.

  • there is one story in the necron book which tells u how u can destroy them, destroy the tomb. in response to the whole of the cadian 23rd being wiped out to the last man, a inquisition/space marine squad take down a necron with a tracking bolter shell, the necron vanishes and the shell tells them where it has gone, they sneak in the tomb to set charges, but are found out, most die as they try to escape but eventualy 4 are teleported out as the bomb wipes the necrons out.

1 tomb down 5000 to go!

  • @Shoreyoo

Necron tombs are capable of repairing them self or preventing the los of those necrons. On medusa V when their tomb was lost they teleport away to some were els. And they might be capable of reparing the tombs eventually. Their also capable of replenesing their loses by conferting other races in to necrons. The silvae are an example thought they got exterminate because they failed to meet the expectations

  • yeah, true, annother way is to use the immaterium, which is why the necrons taret sykers and hate the eldar because the warp is poisin to the c'tan, which is why the eldar banished maugan ra's tomb world to the warp so he would die, but he just survived on pavonis with little energy instead and then the ultramarines acidentally woke him up. lol

  • @Shoreyoo

I ashume you mean Kaelis Ra ( The Nightbringer) they banished his most powerfull weapon (said to be his flag ship) into the warp leaving him without enough energy to survive so all live support systems when to him and his servent perisch without statis.

Warp based weapons are poten because of 1 thing. C'tan can't understand it. They have power over the material universe so fighting them with ordinary weapons is useless but they have less defence against warp based weapons

  • whoops, i was mixed up with mugan ra, the eldar harvester of souls! whoops!

yeah but it says that they are weakened by the warp but i agree wit u

  • necrons are mother fuckers

  • if you get careless, they'll gauss rape your thick hulls into oblivion!

    010111010101010010101

  • space marines are fuckers..

  • All those Necrons behave quite agressive against the ground...

  • @Petema6

they behave quite agressive to everything exept themselfs and other necrons

  • i have one thing to say CHAOS RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • necrons are awsome end of story

  • Because the C'tan feed on mortals, their ultimate goal is to make the galaxy into a farm of sorts where they can sow and reap mortals at will, like grain.

The reason they entered their tombs and slept for 60 millenia, was that almost all life had been killed off by a race called the Enslavers (somtimes referred to as a galactic plague). So the C'tan slept, waiting for the galaxy to be filled with life again.

  • 2 thing 1 semnd me a vid of like the necrons like buliding a base and all the units and 2 the necrons focus of lots of energy weapons

  • Despite the fact that lore wise, an eldar would rather eat his own foot than even touch a necron

  • And why would the Necrons want to cooperate with anything living in the first place?

  • Necron Monolith FTW

  • The emporer is theheart of all life in the imperium and by the way ive stopped collecting imperails now can u guess which ar,my i collect..........

    FOR THE GREATER GOOD!

  • Nightbringer: C'mon guys! Clean this shit up!

  • LOL

  • The Emperor will have to learn to spell first.

  • the Imperium is so fucked up, corrupted, and twisted, it deserves to die. For christ sakes they worship a 10,000 year old corpse and run a regime of mass terror and opression.

  • The Imperium is the only reason that humanity still lives.

Look at the whole 40k universe. If the Imperium was ANY softer, mankind would go poof and disappear from the universe.

Also, the Emperor is the only thing allowing humanity to live, as he is the only way that humanity can actually travel across space. It is a fact that humanity only surives by the emperor's will.

  • Well, its been tried, and you see how that ended. Life will be exterminated. It cannot be stopped.

    haha

  • Tyranids are alive, I believe. They're the ultimate form of what Necrons seek to destroy.

  • Whos the Tyranids?

  • necrons only kill life like plants and animals but they dont destroy planets if they killed every thing in the galaxy they would just go to sleep and let life start all over again

    thats what i think =P

  • Migraaaaattttiiiiioooooon :P

  • Tyranids eat worlds and then there is nothering left that even the world is left, so therefore the Nercons would see it as war and not let the Tyranids go ahead and devour the planet

  • So...judging by that movie, if the Tyranids invaded a tombworld, would the Necrons even care?

I mean, the Tyranids would basically do the Necrons job for them.

  • Except the Necrons exist to destroy every other form of life, they see it as a kind of morbid favour to their gods, more souls for the Nightbringer to devour

They're kind of like the Daleks of Warhammer

  • Tyranids are alive...Necrons hate things that are alive.

  • What Are the tyranids?!

  • tyranids are organic life forms that invade planets that have life and eat all the life in there while striking with huge numbers. hope i helped! :D

  • WHAT they are.. or WHERE they are?

WHAT: ALIENS that swarm the galaxy and EAT WORLDS to gather bio-mass to spawn MORE organismes to swarm and eat even MORE worlds

they are controlled by a "hive mined" witch works like a linked will, controlling every single act in the huge swarm of thousends of organismes..

  • they are called Tyranids because of their first sighting on the planet of Tyran. the planet became an empty husk of itself, inhabitable and devoid of even air.

  • theres jus 1 thing i want to say to all necron fans: GREATER GOOD WILL RULE ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol necrons lost dark crusade cuz the space marines set off a bomb in ther catacombs which possesed the power of chuck norris's normal kick

  • It peeved me off how Uriel Ventris was such an idiot; he nearly destroyed the Nightbringer but then... just... let... it... go...?

He basically held up this thing which if he destroyed would kill it; and yelled that he could destroy it, and then waited... and the nightbringer flew off.

He should've just killed it there and then o.O

  • Yeah but he was bargaining with it, if he hadn't let it go it would have killed them.

  • whos the reaper guy at the end?

  • the nigthbringer

  • a chase betven necorons and other races = race betwen a ultra fat man who spends all day watching tv vs a top notch athlete

  • All those bodies at 1:07 are going to be a bitch to clear up if there are no more bacteria life

  • Maybe they dont want it to be cleaned up?

  • True. But again the Necrons wouldn't give a crap.

  • WTF are necrons any way

  • Think of them as a cross between the Ancient Egyptian mummies and the Terminator machines.

They are even older than the Eldar and are the most technologically advanced race in WH40k.

Their main aim is to enslave the entire galaxy so that they can freely 'harvest' the souls from their victims and feed the appetites of their C'Tan masters (like the Nightbringer).

Apart from the Tyranids, they are probably the biggest danger facing the galaxy.

  • Yeah, especially how they not only conquer the worlds, but destroy them

  • some kinda of ancient machines spreding death....a referance from movie terminator if you ask me :D
