Try to listen to the end of Where the streets have no name (second night) where adam clearly misses his tune (a mistake in all time favorite song). And do try to have in mind that this (and every other official video) goes through a series of embelishment that producers do.

Why on earth would they keep that recording if they failed? After they had finished the song you could see Adam and Bono laughing about it on the 360 screen. Just look at this song, as well. Bono switches between singing and talking way too frequently, impossible that it had been recorded.
