I noticed the LP has "Remember Then" on it as well. I had a 45 single of that (the pressing was really bad...distorted, but I loved it nonetheless). This one is really good too. Sounds like its influenced by the early 60's girl groups in structure and rhythm.
Old Town was a pretty diverse label. As far as the Earls are concerned, they transitioned further into soul the further they got into the 60's. I wouldn't really even call this one a soul record, but this one's gotten some play on the northern soul scene from what I've heard.

I think the B side of their record, "Eyes" was called "Look My Way"

Kool track I'd say maybe it's borderline but definitely Doo Wop as well as Northern..

I dunno. I wasn't a big fan of the Earls mid-sixties stuff. Also Hy Weiss was starting to push Arthur Prysock anyway.

I guess Old Town believed in diversification.
