It's roughly 150 miles and takes about 3.5 to 4 hours from Miami to Key West. U.S. 1 is a lovely drive and has the feel of a coastal drive in an Island nation. The Seven Mile Bridge should be on everyone's bucket list I once made the trip back to Miami in just under 3 hrs. late night in a leased Ferrari.

fastest way to get to south Florida from north, go buy a Sun Pass Toll Tag at the first Toll Plaza on the Florida's Turnpike. will save you time, gas and your brakes from having to always stop to pay...............
