Actually, he held one ankle, which did not make any difference. How could Bobby in any possible way "freeze" the Warrior's entire upper body by holding his ankle? It is simply laughable to think he did. I will never buy that bag of goods. Rude had worn down the Warrior, who was in turn a poor loser.

The pin was clean as far as I was concerned. Every form of interference should not be seen as not making clean the defeat of a dolt like Warrior. He was bested and did not want to accept it.

From what I heard...Vince was waiting for him to sign a contract extension with WWE (this was before the Warrior/Rude cage match at SummerSlam) and if Rude would have signed the extension...Vince was gonna have Rude win the title at Survivor Series in a rematch. Rude, however, wanted to hear WCW's offer. So Warrior won...WCW made their offer and a few months later in October...Rude debuted in WCW at Halloween Havoc as the WCW Phantom and joined Paul E. Dangerously's "Dangerous Alliance"

I remember that now.He took WCW's offer because he had more time @ the crib.He really during his time with them.He longest reigning US Champion in the company's history(14 & a 1/2 months)he had memorable feuds with Sting & Dustin Rhodes.Later he would finally win the WCW World Title by Ric Flair @ Fall Brawl 93.Also he fazed out of "showing the ladies"his body into a no-nonsense ass-kicker by wearing all black.He was supposed to have feuded with Vader for th belt but it didn't happen in 1994

I just got done watching WWE Classics on Demand and they had an old NWA tv show where he and Manny Fernandez beat the Rock and Roll Express for the NWA tag titles. I think him and Fernandez were a good team by watching that and I feel the Ravishing One is very underrated. He had a damn good career.
