  • Great video. I'm planning on buying one. Does anyone know of an internet forum where buyers and potential buyers discuss the reputation of the various boat manufacturers? I keep on googling it but cannot find a single forum. Thanks in advance.

  • lovely idea...but too claustrophobic... cant swing a cat....

  • I've always loved narrow boats since I was a kid. I'm starting to save already for my own I hope I can get it before I'm 30 The lifestyle is so idyllic

  • Lovely video. We are in the process of selling up and buying a narrow boat for our retirement, spending our kids inheritance..The ungratefull brats !! (only kidding if they read this ) It been a dream for twenty years. As a semi pro singer/entertainer I am planning to become 'The Busking Bargee' ..so watch out england !!! If you see me playing in a canal side pub.... buy me and 'er a pint.... or better still throw an copuple of quid in my hat !! Bob R.

  • Wait until one of them cheats on the other on the boat, and their stringed instruments go overboard in a fight.

No sprogs visible in any of these bits, either. Suppose if you hated those, this might be a good lifestyle.

  • @rightfredsdead yeah there handy for the monkey spank al say that

  • i was going to live on a boat but some one pulled the plug out

  • Your boat is broken, it has no masts!

  • Give them a few more months and they will start getting on each others nerves.

  • Great video, Good luck you 2!

  • My wife and I plan to live on a boat in Ontario Canada in 3 years. We have lived in the woods in the summer's when we growing up.

The thing is that there is no sense of community in Suburbia.People jump in their cars and drive to work and then they rush home and stay in the house .

Suburbia is about making money, having big bills every month and staying in the house to find quiet from the city life.

"Society your a crazy breed, hope your not lonely without me"

  • thats so crazy u can fish right from ur window!

  • Spot on about the importance of community, I've always thought that the best thing about living on a boat is meeting the other people who live on boats.

By and large they are the nicest people I have yet met.

  • Nice one ....

  • I was going to live on a boat but I can't play the violin so I've had to scrap the idea.

  • There's always the banjo.

  • @grahamblood i can play piano

  • What's the difference between a Cello and a Violin ??????????? Answer is " No Difference Just lead Violin players have such big heads the instruments look different sizes LOL ! "

  • looks so idyllic

  • What's the moreing costs. And water electric so on and so on

  • i wish i lived on a boat

  • Andrei, this is a really beautiful film.

It is a delight to watch and to hear the interviewees describe their life on the Thames.

Congratulations to you all for showing a unique aspect of our lovely London:)
