How is there validity in characterizing an audience as child-minded? Based on lyrical content? Simplistic notes and/or rhythms? How can one validate a point that limits the thought process of the audience to that of immaturity or ignorance? Aaron said -the day this cover was recorded- that he wanted to explore new musical ideas and work with non-Staind musicians to create a sound unlike the "Staind sound". I hastily used the phrase "broken up" that day. Successful solo ventures can take years. That's what I meant by "I hope the don't stay broken up for long." And, If Aaron did not leave Staind to make his quote "completely different" style of music, then he wasn't being very "honest" with the audience, much less to his own band!
