I miss Slowdive. This is really the only song I like by Mojave 3 because it was so close to the music that was going to be on their last album "I saw the Sun". I mean don't get me wrong, Mojave 3 is good. I just don't like this genre. You know what I mean?

Oh wow now this is a beautiful song that brings back some memories for me as well. I remember I was in the Gobi Desert watching a fight that I had placed a bet on. The fight was between a Hippo and a Polar Bear. It was amazing I could almost hear the residual echoing waves from the Big Bang if I stared at the Hippo's feet long enough and pretended there was no blood and that it wasn't howling in agony as the polar bear tore open it's belly with his power jaws and incisor teeth.

it must have been quite the feast afterwards, what with the world-renowned squirrel paw dressing that comes from that region. What is the major export there, textiles and sack oil?

Uh I'm not sure what their main market driving export is there. I know one thing though and it struck me as kind of unusual. The birds there all ride unicycles with play cards in the spokes instead of flying like birds usually do. I even saw a willow tree speaking french to some of the newly opened Burger King staff who were on break at a nearby waterfall.

This song and album are amazing, but hard to listen to very often. It is so freaking sad. Then they put out "Spoon and Rafter" which was like the emotional opposite of this album. During this era, I picture a M3 concert with a bunch of stuffy college kids standing around looking at the floor wiping tears from their eyes...

Sweetest voice in music today truly a hidden gem. Thank you for posting it. I too was a huge slowdive fan. One time sat with the band in Boston after a gig back in 94, they were the nicest folks and cool as the breeze.
