  • Im reading cross right now (: its such a great book! <3

  • i am reading London Bridges and it reminds me of Cat And Mouse because in LB, there are also two killers after alex.

i dont know if i like Chistine or Jamilla more... probably Jamilla

  • whatever happened to his f iance' Christine johnson .?. in 'along came a spider ' . . i don't know what book came immediately after that book .. and i think i've read MOST of the Cross books ...

  • some1 told me he is gay, is that true?

  • yes, but the way you wrote it was insulting. And yes they are easy access, but that simply means a lot of people can read them. But you still need a brain.

  • Cat and Mouse, Big Bad Wolf and London Bridges are my favs.

I think Will Smith has matured enough as an actor to play Cross. Freeman is great, but the man was already too old to play Cross when they cast him.

  • I agree 100% Freeman was way too old to play a 40 year old man, lol. Cat and Mouse is my all time favorite Cross novel.

  • spud135 - this guy has sold over 100 million books around the world. You need your brain - to understand, to realise before the character and to see the humanity in his works. And how the fuck (sorry for language) cares how long a chapter is? his writing is pacy and keeps you interested. the books you read because they are 'intelectual' probably need a will of steel to get past pg. 1 because its so goddamn boring. Patterson isn't all good, but long may he live and write.

  • The amount he's sold is impressive from a business perspective but this is not evidence of the quality of his writing. Tabloid newspapers outsell quality newspapers by millions but does that mean tabloid newspapers are better? Of course not, they are just easier to read. Patterson has himself admitted that his books are easy-access page turners, nothing more nothing less. They hardly compare to genuine literature with integrity such as Birdsong or the Great Gatsby to name just two.

  • They are making new Alex Cross movies.Jamie Foxx is in talks to take over the role from Morgan Freeman.I suggest Denzel Washington.

  • I love the Alex Cross series. I am anxiously awaiting I, ALEX CROSS. The only information I can find is that Alex's niece is murdered and Alex hunts down her killer. I hope it is not the same niece, Naomi, who was in KISS THE GIRLS, as really liked her. But after KISS the girls, she was only mentioned briefly in a few other books. I have to wait until November to read this and it's only july now. BUMMER!!

  • i've just read CROSS and it's really heart felt. huhuhu, his wife died. i wonder who that guy just called to Alex Cross on the epilogue. The caller says he's the murderer.

  • my fave is lifeguard

  • My fave book of the Cross serious is Cat and Mouse.

  • Favorite is definitely Kiss the Girls.

  • Honestly after reading the Maximum ride series I don't think that he is that great of a writer. He writes awesome plots and I have read serveal of his books. One was stupid confusing, but all the others where good.

  • I just read Honeymoon and Roses are Red. My goal is to complete my James Patterson collection!

  • im reading my first book by him "cat and mouse" with Gary Soneji and its so good, i love it. I wish i could write like him.

  • I dont get it did smith kill alex cause im like tottaly confuse right ow

  • hmm i think smith killed himself on a bed or something..? opened himself up in front of alex if i can remember after a long chase of course

  • The Big Bad Wolf and London Bridges are probably two of the best books EVER WRITTEN.

  • Do you have a brain? It's braindead literature. It commands that you leave your brain at the door. His books are the intellectual equivalent of a soap opera - they are moreish but ultimately without challenge and utterly formulaic. Read something with chapters longer than 3 pages long, you might like it.

  • hey, I like that the chapters are short it makes it more fun to read. I hate long chapters in books. It also makes ya read it faster ironically.

  • my first Patterson book was suzanne's diary for nicholas... AWESOME book. from there i started the "Cross" series, and on to the woman's murder club.. I must say, James Patterson is an extremely talented writer and i cant wait for the next book!!

  • I think my favorite is Pop Goes The Weasel.

  • I don't know why, but my favorite book of his is 4th of July.

  • I have to admit that I put down my Patterson books for a long because most of them are, more or less, the same. An exciting killer is going to give Alex a run for his money. However, I always come back. They're a quick and exciting read and I can't help loving James' screwed-up villains. My fav has been the Wolf, although the Mastermind was good too.

  • Awesome Author. I love all his books. Cross was good.

  • hes right i started the seris with cross and i was hooked to read the rest cross is still my favrite though and i love the whole seris but i have trouble with one thing all of Alexs kids and lovers are perfect. now flaws errors of any sort. nothing. i think it would be a good turn around to do someting diffrent like have damon hang out with gangsters who alex busts getting into a fight with another gang that would be good.

  • cross country is the best one

  • ur right i cou;dnt put down his books eather

  • I can honestly say Patterson's books are the only ones I couldn't put down. Seriously, no matter how hard I tried, even if I WANTED to go to bed, I couldn't.

  • I like Cross books and even checked out Max Ride, but have to ask if I'm the only one sad he didn't continue the original Max books(The Lakehouse)cause I wanted to see what happened with that story.

  • I totally disagree!!!! the more I read about Alex Cross the more I love james patterson!! And I hope there are more Cross books because I just cannot get enough of this series!!

  • pattersons books are flat and sloppy and they obviously seem to satisfy the american request =)

  • James Patterson I agree is the BOMB!! I have read all the Alex Cross books...they are my favorite. They draw you in.

  • how many Cross books are there? and the names?

  • jealous maybe??

  • i love maximum ride! i hope they will make the movie soon!!

  • He's a great writer and I love this series!!

  • I love James Patterson. Hes such a talented author. .::<33::.

  • I read only the first 100 pages in a day and had to stop cause of all the reading from school. I'm so desperate to get back at it. Patterson is truly a great author. If you have friends who don't like to read, give em Cross and im sure they'll like it

  • James Patterson is my dowg!!!!!brilliant writer!!!!!!kudos James!!!!!!!

  • Cross was an awesome novel. Jesus...

  • ohhh yeahh man its soo good.. im almost finishin` it.. recomended

  • I have read every single one of his books. I love the Alex Cross series, and I have even got my father and grandmother reading them. James is a legend when it comes to suspenseful writing. Women's Murder club books are awesome as well. Awaiting the release of new books in both series. LOVE HIM!!!

  • wow this is cool, my name is Alex Cross hahahah!

i want to buy the book now!

  • lol if u didnt know this . but there are two movies based of the books. since ur on youtube u can look up the trailers. look for "kiss the girls" and look for "along came a spider"

  • yeah those were Patterson's Books.

COOL, Morgan Freeman played Alex Cross.

also check out Blood Work. it's based on Michael COnnelly's book. THe movie was made by Clint Eastwood who plays Terry McCaleb in the movie.

I think hollywood should make a movie about Harry Bosch and Chris Noth should portray him.

  • didnt he fight in world war 2?you play as james patterson in medal of honor frontline.

  • ok im 13 and i love james patterson!

    he is awesome!

i just finised "suzanne's dairy for nicholas"

i cried sooo much i highly reccomend it!

  • All his books are good to me. I'm Reading London Bridges Right now, but Cross was the 1st 1 I read, I wish I had read them in order.

  • "Cross" can't be the end of the series! W/O giving anything away....there's an cliffhanging type unresolved twist at the end!

  • no. he's writing another called Double Cross. I found it for pre-order. don't worry, it's not the last.

  • i no!!!!! "your dr. alex cross..." insert rest of quote here. but even after double cross theres another called cross country. title is unconfirmed though.

  • Yeah, I can't wait for that. I have read all the Alex Cross novels in order, and they are all amazing reads. James Patterson is a legend!

  • OH my if you havent read any cross book you better start now, i mean now!
