  • plus in one of these clips he had a towel from being in the shower on and it fell off completely and they didn't even give a damn. k bye

  • Looks like Colin really has to go. LOL!

  • censorship is stupid!

it's not strong enough to hide us from what happened!

all it does is piss everyone off and satisfy those stupid parents who want to child-proof everything! (i bet their kids get screwed later on in life)

  • When the censors make sense, Animaniacs will be put back on TV! DX

Or we can screw that and join the revival project!

But seriously, why can't networks leave shows unedited in DVDs!

If Looney Tunes can put their racist episodes on DVD why can't Animaniacs put the stupid deleted scenes in DVDs?

  • @InvaderWakkoReborn I believe it's becaused it's showing what they originally aired. The cuts on Animaniacs were made before they got aired I believe. Looney Tunes only cut some parts for broadcasting, but on the DVD's they showed them as they originally were. But I agree with you too. And what really ticks me off is that WB has no further plans to release Animaniacs Volume 4, or Wakkos Wish! Yeah I know that's off topic.

  • Did that scene make it to the DVDs?

    *curious*

  • @MrWarners14 Don't believe so. I think only the normal aired version with no visual gag was on the DVD.

  • Colin's Italian voice is cute.

  • How do you get all of this mystical Animaniacs stuff?!?! Are you friends with a wizard or something?

  • This one, yeah I got from a wizard of sorts -- my friend Federica Giulietti, who is a wizard of an animator and a big Animaniacs fan. She sent me two tapes episodes from the Italian broadcasts, which included a couple things like this which weren't in the U.S. broadcasts.

  • This one...this one time. This guy on the internet found a lamp and inside the lamp was a genie. and so the guy is all happy that he gets three wishes, but instead the genie gave him a bunch of old Animaniacs stuff.....k' bye...

  • This one actually was aired in America a bunch of times. I love this kid.

  • The vocal track was used, but not this animation or the music track that matches this animation.

  • you have any other Randy Beaman's Pal clips?

  • Well of course I have all the ones that were broadcast, but I'm not going to post those; they're on the DVDs.

  • LOL. Does any body know where I can find a copy of the one where he talks about the Lee Press on nails coming to life?

  • On the Animaniacs vol. 3 DVD set. It was part of episode 62.

  • as if i or you needed to see some kid touching himself to do it jaja, come on havent you learn that if someone anyone wants to do something, they´re gonna.

  • I'm slow :(

Can someone tell me what was soo bad about it?

  • Because he's "holding himself" without it ever stated exactly why, the censors feared there would be complaints from parents that this would cause their own children to "touch themselves". And that's a big deal in America.

  • But don't children "hold themselves" when they need to pee/get embarrassed/get an ich there anyway?

  • Yes, but as it's not stated why he's doing it, it seems they feared that kids would just do it for the fun of it.

  • o i c =O

    maybe he had to pee?

  • I showed this to my brother and he pissed his pants and came to school with wet pants. THANK YOU KARMA!

  • Little boys hold themselves all the damn time, especially when they have to go to the bathroom. God people are so damn sensitive.

  • This is one of the few times I can sorta understand why parents might not want their kids to see this. Some kids might think molestation was okay...

  • From the network that brought you Temptation Island...

  • I dunno, I remember viewing this scene, in the U.S. mind you, with the "potty" reference intact. Perhaps something that was fixed after syndication?

  • I love Animaniacs and I understand about why this video was cut from the U.S. television. Thanks for uploading this Keeper1st

  • Why even have censors? In Sweden you can send anything on TV, though if it is considered offensive you will get in trouble. Yet still, there are like 2 or 3 moovies that has been banned from swedish televishion, don't remember what movies they were but still. The law makes people think about what they are airing and if they feel like airing razist material they will suffer the conciquenses, but they are still fully allowed to air it. There are many flaus that I can't bring up (character limit)

  • I don't understand. You explain things terribly. WHY was it removed?

  • The explanation makes sense to people who are familiar with the show. It's removed because he is holding his crotch. Although there was an entire cartoon based on Wakko Warner trying to "hold it in" ("Potty Emergency"), for this segment, because it isn't obviously stated, the censors felt that parents might complain about the little boy holding himself for no apparent reason.

  • Says you. It's just a single screen, for heaven's sake. For more detail, use the web page.

  • I love you, whoever put this up, awesome.

  • Someday I'll get a capture card or USB capture device and do it properly, and reconstruct it wholly, splicing together the music from the Italian broadcast with the original English dialog. I still need to check if I have the original video of the second "Animaniacs Special Presentation" opener, which was never shown in the U.S. I have the audio, at least...

  • oh my i gotta watch my blood presure now -_-

  • But... but... Animaniacs had an ENTIRE SKIT around Wakko having his own "potty emergency"! IIRC that was the actual title, as well!

...not that the censors in this country make any damn sense.

  • Yeah. I guess because it was obvious that it was a "potty emergency" in Wakko's case made it OK, whereas here it isn't actually stated why Colin is grabbing himself.

  • @CloverElf

Better they make no sense then like the Mylie Cyris crap.

  • I've watched both versions many times--I give up. Aside from the language, what's different?

  • In the video, nothing; they're both shots of the same deleted animation. In the broadcast version, Colin just comes out, stands there, delivers the line and goes back inside -- no visual gag. This video shows the animation twice because the music also was not used on the broadcast version, since it didn't match the replacement animation. I suppose I could have just spliced in the English dialog and taken out the Italian. Maybe when I can capture video properly again I can re-do this like that.

  • Why was it deleted?

  • because they thought kids would be too busy pointing out the fact he is "touching himself" rather than figure out the fact "he needs to go potty"

  • Oh gosh I'm glad they deleted that scene! I'd hate for my little boy to see it. He might turn into a serial killer or something when he goes up!

  • ... ha wow that was sarcastic rite?

  • lol. was that sarcasm?

  • Sarcasm??? ME????

    NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • heheheh. Douglas Adams wrote a joke like that for a Doctor Who story in 1979. "Sarcastic, sir? Why, I don't know the word!"

  • Interestng how the Italians have no issues with "potty emergencies." Vittorio De Sica's 1948 classic "Ladri di biciclette" ("The Bicycle Thief") contains a scene of a boy about to urinate on on a wall (he doesn't actually do it, mind you). When the film was shown in the US in 1949, this was the only scene that was deleted. Interesting how after fifty years, nothing changed: Americans are still uptight about it, Italians aren't!

  • That's pretty interesting! Thanks for sharing!
