cool man, I was wondering, would these programs work for a pc keyboard? I want to make some ridiculous midi controller out of a random mac keyboard I got lying around and want to know if it's possible.

yeah, totally possible. if you're in ableton live you can asign keystrokes to do anything you want usingthe keymapping button,top right. if you want to put out midi for other software then i'm sure there'd be a little freeware keystroke2midi windows program out there somewhere.&if you can't find one then max(like video) or pure data(similar but free)will do it noproblem.
